As the two of you once again jump down onto the fire escape, you trip over your own feet, only for Hobie to catch you.

"Careful there, darling" He teases as he helps you stand back up.

"Don't call me that" you mutter as you open the window.

"Why? It makes you flustered, and you're so cute when you're flustered, darling~" Hobie whispers in your ear, sending tingles through your entire body.

"Your uh accent is really nice" You comment as you cover your masked face.

"Oh really now" He snuck into the window behind you.

"Hey, do you ever play your guitar? I've only seen you hit people with it" You quickly try to change the subject.

"Wow, way to change the topic, but yes I do play it" He laughs while pulling his mask off.

He could probably tell by the way the eyes on your suit seemed to sparkle that you really wanted him to play something.

Hobie chuckled and pulled your mask off before sitting on your bed.

As he began playing, you weren't even able to focus on the actual song, your eyes were glued to his hands.

He noticed where you were looking and smirked.

"Like something you see?" Hobie set his guitar next to him and stood up, pulling you in by your waist.

Your face became red as you stared at him.

You quickly buried your face in his chest to hide.

"Don't hide yourself love, I want to look at your beautiful face" Hobie chuckled.

"You're lying, you don't like me, you're just messing with me" you sobbed.

"Oh darling, why would you ever think something like that" he lifted your head up, so you were forced to make eye contact with him.

You still tried to advert his eyes though, you didn't know why, but you were worried about what he thought of you.

He then sat back down on your bed, pulling you down, so you're sitting on his lap facing him.

"Y/N, I've only known you for a few days, but you are the most wonderful person I've ever met" Hobie stated his eyes softened as you smiled.

You quickly let yourself fall forward, pushing him down onto the bed in a hug.

"Oi, someone's cuddly" He chuckled.

He hugged you back, feeling you breathing under his arms.

You could feel yourself begin to fall asleep in Hobie's embrace.

"You're that comfortable around me, love?" Hobie asked.

You sleepily hum and Hobie slides you off his chest, causing you to groan at the loss of heat.

"Relax darling I just want to make sure you're comfortable" He moves around a bit more until you're pressed against his body in a more comfortable position.

"Goodnight Y/N" Hobie whispered in your ear before planting a kiss on your forehead.

The next morning, the sun blared through your window, hitting your eyes. As you slowly sat up, yawing, you realized Hobie was no longer next to you.

"Good morning kiddo!" Your Uncle Sam said as he walked into your room.

"Your friend already left, he said he had something important to do" Your Uncle Sam stated.

You nod before rubbing your eyes.

A piece of paper sitting on your desk caught your attention.

You shot a web over to it in order to grab it without having to get up just yet.

'Hey darling I had to bounce, there was some stupid ass anomaly that Gwen needed help with and when I came back you looked so peaceful, and I wouldn't have wanted to disturb you I'll be back later today though'

You read through the note, slightly laughing at the fact there was zero punctuation.

"I guess I should go to the spider HQ" You mutter to yourself as you grab your mask.

As the portal slowly opens, you step into it, flying through the tube like transport.

Once you step out of the portal, you quickly regain your balance after being flung through the portal.

"Y/N!" You hear someone yell.

A figure in white, black, and pink suddenly drops in front of you, and you quickly realize it's Gwen.

She pulls you in for a hug before letting you go.

"I haven't seen you since we first met! Oh my gosh Hobie talks about you so much" she chuckled.

Your face went a little pink and she smirked.

"Ok, anyway, I have a ton of other spider people I want you to meet today!" She smiled and quickly began to swing away.

You followed close behind her as she leads you to another path.

"I think he left, we'll have to go to his dimension then" Gwen sighed.

You were slightly confused, but just went along with it as the two of you walked through the portal that had just opened.

Once you got out of the portal, and it closed behind you, Gwen begin speaking, "Welcome to mumbattan"

"It looks very crowded" you remark as you notice all the traffic.

She nodded before a boy in a spider suit jumped down in front of you.

"Pav!" Gwen shouted as she noticed him.

"Hey Gwen! Ooh, is this the person Hobie has a cr-" he was cut off by Gwen covering his mouth.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Y/N" you say sticking out your hand for him to shake.

"It's nice to meet you too, although I know everything about you from a certain someone" he laughed before continuing, "my name Pavitr I'm this universe's Spider-Man"
