In the wake of love's fading light,
We choose separate paths tonight.
No bitterness, just a fresh start,
Discovering ourselves, heart to heart.
Like birds that leave the comfort of the nest,
We seek adventures, where we feel our best.
Unveiling dreams we've long kept inside,
As we journey alone, with nothing to hide.
I'll explore the world, find my own way,
With courage and purpose, day by day.
You'll follow your passions, shining bright,
Embracing freedom, like a soaring kite.
This breakup, not an end, but a chance to grow,
To nurture ourselves, and let our spirits flow.
With gratitude for the love we once knew,
We embrace the new beginning, just me and you.
So let's celebrate the beauty we've found,
In parting ways, we're unbound.
With hopeful hearts, we'll find our place,
Starting anew, with a smile on our face.
No longer entwined, but still intertwined,
Our separate journeys, by fate designed.
A simple goodbye, a world to explore,
As we embark on the paths we adore.
