Sarah's pov

IV officially been 20 squad for 3 months and the last 5 months without Shane have been great. I found a house and am fixing it up for me and Ethan.

Me and Luca are good friends . He's there every morning to pick me up so I don't have to walk to work . My house is a mile and a half from headquarters but he insists it's to dangerous to walk it. Ethan started school in North Carolina and he hates it . He misses me and asked about Hank. I set his tablet up with calling and got my uncle to add Hank.

I still talk to dad at least every other day but it is different not seeing him. Dad loves that Ethan calls him grampa now.

Luca still asks me out but he doesn't push. IV decided one dinner won't hurt.
If he asks again I'll accept.

"So what's up the weekend sweet cheeks" ? Luca asked as we were leaving head quarters

"Nothin really maybe work on the house" I said I am exhausted

"Dinner invite is still up if ur interested " he quirked

"Where we goin" I said as he froze

"Are u finally saying yes?"

I nodded and he just smiled. He wrapped his arms around me as he said "let go grab some dinner and just talk"

We went in his jeep to this little mom n pop place that I noticed a lot of people new him from. Turns out it's his place.

"U own this place?" I asked as I ate my tacos

"Yep me and Rosie "he pointed to an older Latino woman

I just smiled .

When we finished eating Luca asked",wanna go to the beach?"

"What's there?" "I don't surf" I laughed as he did . "There's lots of stuff it's nice just to watch the son go down" he said

"Sure just let me get this uniform off"

"Oh yeah my place is close we can change there" he said as we got back in his jeep.

He pulled up outside a small white home and I noticed streets bike there. "I forgot unsaid street loved here to. " I said as we entered

"Yea he stays here his mom's got his place so he crashes in my spare room"

We entered and I put my duffle on the couch . I pulled out my clothes and he sword me where the bathroom was. When I entered I heard noises that I assumed were neighbors until I heard "fuck Cris "

I slipped on my sun dress and fixed my hair as my mouth hung open. When I exited the bathroom Luca had changed and I approached him.

He was staring and I said "um eyes are up here" he snapped out of it and said "sorry"

"It's ok" he laughed

"Um I didn't know Cris and street were together. " I told Luca

"O yea they claim to be just friends but everyone wants um to hook up" he said "y"

I laughed as he looked at me confused

"There in his room now" I said

Lucas eyes got big he ran to the door and listened . We both were laughing as he said "come on I'll bust his balls later "

"Sounds like Cris already is" he laughed loudly as we walked back outside..

We drove to the beach and my god it was pretty. Luca laye dout a blanket as he sat down and I followed.
