There was an awkward minute of silence after I had just revealed my relationship with Gwen but she was too busy eating to be bother by it meanwhile the others were just staring at us. Ganke then dramatically put a hand on his chest acting offended as the silence pursued. It was quickly interrupted by Hobie's loud laugh though.

— Miles got a girl ? Oh my giddy aunt ! He mocked tapping his foot on the floor. His contagious ugly laugh caught Pavitr who followed. I don't know if I should be upset by his comment..

— That's crazy bro ! It took so long because Miles feelings for Gwen were too obvious ! In the beginning I thought she was friendzoning him ! He added laughing as I rolled my eyes.

— Can't y'all be serious for a minute ? I sighed. And why would anyone friendzone me ? I mumbled.

— How did you not tell me man I was the first one to know you had a crush on her ! Ganke said hitting the table.

— We all knew. Gayatri interfered shaking her head as the two clowns were still laughing. Pavitr stop it's serious, she said taping his thigh. That's why Margo have been feeling down for so many weeks... she's heartbroken. She stated while looking at Margo with sadness in her eyes. They both were very close..

— Miles you broke lil homegirl heart ! Hobie said trying to hold his laughter. His eyes went to Gwen then moved to Pavitr and when they connected they both started laughing. Gayatri cleared her throat to make them stop. My bad it's just.. I never imagined Miles would have a girlfriend.

— So what, was I supposed to die alone ?

— Nah I figured Margo would confess to you one day or another but someone beat her to it apparently. He shrugged.

— Miles confessed first actually, Gwen corrected putting her spoon down.

— We don't care who confessed first. I said rolling my eyes.

— Yes we do. Ganke replied.

— Shut up, eat your rice. I struck back.

— There's no rice today it's only peas ! He exhaled facepalming.

— You're not mad about the situation..? Gwen carefully asked looking at Gayatri and Hobie who were probably the most sane. Like you're not taking her side or something ?

— Taking sides ? That's not our business ! Pavitr said. I just want everyone to be happy happy, please make up fast !

— Honestly I feel bad for her, I understand what she did but I guess her frustration made her do some... unpleasant things. Gayatri said and I could see Gwen nodding.

— For how long have you been together ? Ganke asked.

— Remember the little party my mom organised ?

— WHAT ! He exclaimed slamming his hands on the table.

— If they kissed you owe me 5$. Gayatri smiled looking at him.

— Y'all did a bet ?

— We could feel the romantic tension ! Pavitr explained. It was suspicious that you both disappeared and no offense but « Miles was showing me around » is the worst excuse I've ever heard ! He started laughing as Gwen blushed.

— I didn't know what to say okay ? She defended herself which made me giggle.

— I guess my guy is no longer a virgin. Hobie bluntly said as Gwen choked on her food.
