-Pisces's POV-

As the cab turned left and pulled up to the academy, I gasped. This academy was the best academy for mythical beings in the world. The campus looked like a 5-star hotel/resort and was said to be one of the biggest plots in the area. The whole environment looked so lively with several students- with most people not having their species features visible. I looked at my wings to my side and made them invisible along with my halo. I quickly tipped the driver and walked out. I stood at the front pearly gates and stepped in. There was a huge water fountain in the center with beautiful plants growing and vines wrapped around the building. Some other angels were flying around the area while others were tending to nature. I saw werewolves and vampires as well, heading in and exploring the land. But no demons. I remembered they didn't like outside much.

I walked into the building and my shock just increased. The lobby was all marble and had those fancy chandeliers I see at mansions. There was a huge line at the check-in area. All new students had to check in to get their dorms and schedules. I got in the long line thinking about everything that had happened. I had been accepted into the most amazing academy. And apparently, I was a zodiac sign-one of the most famous constellations and all twelve of us had been accepted. Suddenly someone bumped into me from behind me. I turned to see a gorgeous girl behind me glaring at the person behind her. She had long blonde/light brown hair and emerald-green eyes. Suddenly, she turned to me and smiled.

"I'm sorry about that, someone bumped into me from behind," she said apologetically. "I'm Virgo," she said, holding out her hand. Virgo? I remembered her name as one of the signs. I shook her hand. "Don't worry about it. I-I'm Pisces," I said my wings reappearing fluttering. "Oh! You're a zodiac sign right?" she asked as I nodded. I realized we were at the front of the line. I walked up to the lady as she greeted me. "Welcome young lady! Your name?" she asked me. "Pisces," I said quickly. "Ah! A zodiac sign, it's a pleasure to have you here," she said looking through folders and handing me one. This has your dorm room and key as well as your schedule," she explained as I nodded and waved goodbye. I saw Virgo waiting for me and I walked up to her, clutching my folder. "So our dorms are on the third floor," she said, looking at her folder. I rushed to check mine but she stopped me. "All of the signs rooms are on the same floor and your roommate will also be another sign," she said. "How do you know all of this?" I asked timidly. "I ask a lot of questions," she said as we headed for the elevator. Just as we got in, a boy rushed into it gasping.

"I'm gonna be late..." he said in a panic looking at his watch. Just then, he turned to see us. "Oh- this...this isn't what it looks like," he said casually whistling. We just stood there in silence. "You know your watch is wrong right? Virgo said, eyeing his hand. "Huh? It is?" he asked, confused. "Thirty minutes ahead," she said, looking at her phone. He growled in anger. Loudly. I flinched. "Oh, I'm sorry," he said sheepishly eyeing us. I guessed he was a werewolf. Before he could introduce himself, the elevator door opened and we walked out. Surprisingly, he was headed the same way as us, though he didn't seem to notice. We walked until we saw a corridor with a sign: Zodiac Dorms. They had a corridor for us? I really hadn't thought we were that important. When we turned right and entered the hallway, we saw 6 rooms. 3 on one side and 3 on the other. That's when the boy spun around and noticed us. "Are you guys following me?" he eyed us suspiciously. "No, you doofus. We're signs," Virgo said and waved goodbye to me before entering the first dorm to the left. That left me and the boy standing there in awkward silence. Suddenly, Virgo came back out and saw us still standing there and raised an eyebrow. "What happened?" I asked her. "I left something in the lobby," she said, rushing off to the elevator. By the time I turned around, the boy was gone. I looked to the right and entered the last dorm, 205. When I walked in I stared at the dorm. This dorm was the size of a one-story house! It had two bedrooms, an office mixed with a library, a small living room, and a kitchen. It also had a balcony with a view of the front of the school.

I saw luggage piled up in the first room but no one was there. I guessed my roommate was a girl since the lady had informed me that there were 12 signs- 6 males and 6 females and for the sake of privacy they were pairing the same genders together instead of the "boy girI" option. walked to the second bedroom that had a weird symbol on it. It looked like an H but the lines were curved. I stared at it and realized it was the Pisces symbol. I just shook my head. This was all too weird. I walked in and placed my luggage in the room. I started unpacking my stuff, decorating my room with posters and pictures of family and friends. Just as I finished I heard the front door. I peeked out of my door and saw a girl walking into the first bedroom. She had strawberry blonde hair and light pink eyes. I guessed she was my roommate. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple but before I could go back to my room, the girl walked out of hers. She jumped when she saw me.

"Oh hi! I didn't know you were here yet, I'm Libra!" she said, walking up to me. When she smiled, my face paled. Vampire. I felt my palms start to sweat as I took a step back and gulped. "You afraid of vampires?" she asked, tilting her head. "I-I just don't have a good experience with them," I said, my heart in my throat. She held her hand out and smiled gently at me. "I promise, I won't hurt you," she said in a soothing voice. I reached out my shaking hand and placed it in hers. She gently gripped it and pulled me closer to her. "See? I'm harmless," she said, brushing my long hair out of my face. Our faces were an inch apart and I could tell she was hiding her teeth to avoid intimidating me. I pulled away from her and looked down and I could feel her staring at me. I saw her nose twitch. I knew what that meant but I didn't think she was going to do what she felt like.

"See you later my angel," she said, winking at me, heading to her room. I noticed my wings were extended and fluttering rapidly. I ran back to my room and splashed my face with cold water. What was that? I thought to myself. I looked up in the mirror to see my face was flushed red. I took a deep breath and tried to compose myself but my mind kept wandering. I shook my head and decided to distract myself. I quickly put my long hair in a braid and settled into my room and grabbed an astrology book. I needed to know more about zodiac signs and constellations anyway.

-Virgo's POV-

I rushed back to the corridor to my dorm. I had forgotten one of my suitcases down in the lobby. I used my key and opened the door and placed my suitcase in the first room. I heard some noise coming from the second bedroom and guessed my dormmate had arrived. I decided to introduce myself and gently floated over to the second room and shrunk down my wings. I peeked in and saw a girl and cringed at the mess in her room. Don't say anything, Don't say anything I told myself. I was half expecting a boy as the old school I went to had two different people of different genders in a dorm but I guess this school was more respectful- thank god. I suddenly noticed the girl punching a dummy and wearing workout clothes. This girl had muscles. I decided not to interrupt her and as I turned to leave I felt a wrist grab my arm. I flinched at her grip and turned back around to face her.

"What do you think you're doing?" she griped. Great now I have a jerk roommate. "I'm your roommate- what do you think?" I said annoyed looking away. She tightened her grip and turned my head towards her. "Look at me when speaking and you're my roommate?" she said disgustedly, looking at my wings. Wait a minute. Was she a...? Suddenly horns arose from her head and a tail swerved around her. I felt anger boil inside me and I looked her straight in her eyes. Demon. I twisted out of her grip and clenched my fists. "Don't touch me," I said angrily and stormed to my room, slamming my door. Why did this school put an angel and a devil in the same dorm? I just groaned. It appeared I already had an enemy.

I suddenly realized I hadn't got her name. I quickly looked out my door at hers and saw the symbol on her door. Scorpio. I just rolled my eyes. What great luck! I wanted to storm back to the lobby and make a complaint. But I knew it wouldn't work and probably create a bad impression. I decided to just read my latest book. Reading always calmed me down and helped me feel at peace. As did cleaning. I flipped to the first page and took a deep breath, resting my head. Calm down V. I told myself. I suddenly felt a slight shaking. I looked down and saw my necklace with the emerald locket. It was glowing brightly and I quickly opened it and saw Scorpio's reflection. I knew what this meant. She had noticed it. I gripped it tightly in my fist and vowed to protect it.
