-Sagittarius's POV-

I paced my room back and forth, constantly thinking about what had happened earlier. I really had made a fool of myself in front of those 2 girls. And it was just my luck that they were also signs. I didn't even catch their names- all I know is that they were angels. Suddenly my thoughts were interrupted by a slight knock on my door, followed by it creaking open. There was a tall boy at the door with dark hair, glasses, and a collared black shirt. "Oh hey! You must be my roommate! Why are you dressed like coal?" I said chuckling at my joke. He just stood there unamused. I gulped at the expression on his face. He walked towards me slowly as I backed away until I backed into the wall.

I braced myself for what was going to happen and a second later, he was inches away from me and growled in my ear. Suddenly a smirk appeared on his face and burst out laughing. I just stared at him. "You should've seen the look on your face- it was hilarious!" he said wheezing. After a few minutes, he composed himself and extended his arm. "I'm Leo, it's nice to meet you," he said, wiping a tear from his eye. "Uh, what? I- uh?" I just stood there like an idiot as he just rolled his eyes, grabbed my hand, and shook it. "My apologies, I couldn't resist," he said himself. "I'm your dorm mate" he added. "I'm Sagittarius- nice to meet you," I said, still recovering.

I was the prank master! No one intimidated me! Suddenly I had an idea. "Do you wanna join forces?" I asked. He looked at me confused and then a grin appeared on his face as he understood what I meant. He nodded once again and left my room. Just as I was about to settle in, I realized my hand was dripping something sticky. I turned it over to see...maple syrup? I laughed but I was a little annoyed that he had got me again. I just washed my hand and started plotting my revenge. I suddenly realized something and checked my clock. Shit. I was going to be late. I grabbed my bag and rushed out to see Leo leaving.

"Hey wait up!" I said, running after him. He just side-eyed me as I caught up to him and we walked to our first class. As we entered, I stared at the room in shock. The walls were painted with planets and space. There were only 12 desks in the room, evenly spaced. Each desk was labeled with a zodiac sign name. I spotted my desk and walked over to it. As soon as I sat down, I felt a weird sensation in my body. I shivered. I noticed a red glow around my body. What the? I looked behind me to see Leo with the same red glow. I turned to my left and saw a redheaded girl with the same red glow. Since the desk was a small distance from me, I couldn't see her name tag. I stretched my neck.

Aries. Suddenly she turned towards me and gave me a glare. I jumped back into my seat, feeling guilty. I looked around the room and saw all the other desks with a zodiac in them and each of them had an eerie glow around them in different colors- green, blue, white, and well...red. I decided to focus on the classroom. There was a large desk in the front with a big binder at the front. There was also a projector but because of the walls, I wasn't really sure how that would work. Just then, a handful of people walked to the front of the classroom. They were all older than us but seemed on the young side. "Well hello students, zodiacs! Welcome, Welcome!" The woman in the front said smiling. She seemed in her high twenties and had bright yellow hair with a yellow glow around her head.

"I'm Sun, this is Moon, and these are planets!" she said gesturing to the others around her. I quickly counted them, there were 9 of them, including Sun. "Uh miss?" A girl towards the front raised her hand. I recognized her as one of the girls from the elevator earlier. "Yes, Virgo?" Sun said, turning towards her. "Why are we...glowing?" she asked hesitantly. "Don't worry, "I'll get to that," she assured her. "First off, let me introduce everyone. This is Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Moon," she said, naming each of the people next to her. And you guys are the Zodiac signs! I want each of you to say your name please" she said, gesturing to the redhead girl next to me.

"Aries," she said uninterested. Sun just sighed as one of the red-head teachers smirked. Everyone went on- Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. As Pisces finishes, Sun smiled. "It's so nice to meet you all. Now, as you can see, all of you have a glow around you. The fire signs have a red glow, the water signs have a blue glow, the air signs have a white glow, and the earth signs have a green glow. Now each of you has a power based on your element.

The fire signs- you can create fire or fire manipulation. The water signs have water manipulation, the air signs have wind manipulation, and the Earth signs can create/destroy land or have earth manipulation. And..." Sun trailed off...looking at Moon who shook her head. "Uh...and nothing. But you will need to be careful when you use your powers, they can be dangerous and who knows what could happen if you used them with the wrong intention," she said, seeming to remember something. "Now the reason you're glowing is because well, you 12 are always glowing. Since you are special, the glow signifies that. Everyone but you guys can see the glow but these desks are specialized that make you see it as well," she explained while we just stared at her, confused and shocked.

"Ok that's enough- they look distraught," Moon said, putting a hand is Sun's shoulder, making her look away. "Miss Sun? How do we activate our powers?" A brown-haired girl who I think was Capricorn asked. "Ah yes. That is something which you must figure out on your own," she said, turning towards the moon and whispering something to her as she shook her head. "Well, you're dismissed for today and I hope you all get to know each other," she said as we got up. As we left the classes, we stood there awkwardly. We hadn't really interacted much other than with our roommates and maybe someone here and there.

We just walked to class and made small talk with people we already know. As I walked with Leo, I noticed the 2 girls from the elevator incident looking at me who I had learned were Virgo and Pisces. "Give me a second," I said to Leo walking over to them. Pisces smiled at me weirdly as Virgo looked away. "Hey...look I'm sorry if I was kind of a jerk earlier- I can be like that," I tried apologizing. "Aww, thanks! It's alright," Pisces accepted. I looked at Virgo who just rolled her eyes. "Come on V- I'm sorry," I pouted. "Ok, first of all, don't call me "V," she said sternly. I made my famous puppy dog eyes that no one could resist and she bit her tongue. "You're blushing!" I teased. "No I'm not and you're an idiot but whatever," she said waving me off. "Yay! Miss stubborn forgives me!" I said, hugging her. "Get off me you imbecile," she said, pushing me off. I smiled and went back to Leo.

"What was that?" he asked. "Long story," I sighed as we entered our second class. The walls for similar but mostly space related with other planets, stars, etc. The desks were in groups of 2 and I walked to the front of the class to find mine. I looked at the label on the desk next to mine- Aries. I cringed. That girl was already mad at me from earlier. Guess I'd have to do more damage control. She walked in and didn't seem to care she was next to me but didn't say anything. It was time to get this party started.

"Hey- I'm Sagittarius, I'm sorry for earlier," I said, expecting her to yell at me but instead, she smiled. "Aries, and I forgive you because you are kind of handsome," she said, playing with her hair. I winked at her, took her hand, and kissed at as she laughed. I was an expert flirter but this girl was quite cute. I suddenly felt someone glaring at me from behind but when I turned around, I didn't see anyone. It was probably just paranoia. But as I went through the rest of the day, I always felt like someone was watching me...
