Chap 12

Lucy's pov:

After a few moments of silence the guild erupted in questions, everyone talking over one another.

"Silence!" Erzas voice booms through the guild and once there's silence again she turns to me. "Care to explain what happened?"

Sighing I look towards Gray for help, but he shrugs. "During the war the first master handed me the book of E.N.D." That got gasp from the guildmembers, but with Erzas glare no one interrupted me. "She said I could find a way to help Natsu, with Gray's and Happys help we found a secure place to open the book among all the chaos. Words in a language I've never seen before started swerling around us, but we didn't have much time to figure it out, the words started to disappear rapidly, meaning Natsu was dying. I replaced everything that disappeared and also added everything I knew about Natsu, every single detail he and everyone has ever told me, everything we've lived through, every possible thing thst connects to him in hopes that it would be enough for him to stay after Zeref was defeated."

"How does this connect with the veins?" Erza asks.

"The moment I wrote in the book they appeared, the more I wrote the more they covered. The best way to describe the feeling at the time was like having Natsu's hottest flames burn me from the inside out. Luckily Gray was there and with his devilslaying magic able to remove it since it was demons fire. It's never returned till just now and it wasn't burning like the first time." I explain. 'I wonder why it returned?'

Erza nod with a look of concern. "Let's go explain that to master, maybe he'll have an explanation." I nod and follow her to his office.

-After they explain to master-

"I'm sorry my child I don't know what this could be, but I'll look into it. In the meantime did it spread more than last time?" Master asks.

"Not that I noticed, but the best one to ask would be Gray."

From there the conversation continued with speculations for a while till a loud crash was heard from the first floor. 'Huhhhh...they are at it again.'

-During the conversation in the main part of the Guildhall-

3rd person pov:

Everyone was quiet and pretty still. They were to concerned to even move, no one knew what caused it. Even Lisanna was concerned, sure she didn't like how close Lucy was with Nastu, even in Edolas they were together, she just wanted to be with her Natsu, not cause Lucy injuries.

Everyone considered the possibility it was Lisannas fault, even Lisanna herself. It had happened after she slapped her and tho the guild fight among each other, this wasn't the same. Still everyone stayed as still and quiet as they could afraid to trigger it and this time for it to cause Lucy the pain she described.

What no one noticed was the missing blue exceed that had left the moment the veins appeared on Lucy to do exactly what he was told in an emergency. Get Natsu.

Natsu's pov:

After helping the guards with the Vulcan I continued patrolling the mountain, trying to see if I could catch the scent of another camp, but after a while I got to where I originally started. I was going to do another run around the mountain to make sure I got all the camps, but I caught Happys scent. Considering Luce scent wasn't with him that could only mean something happened.

Rushing over to where he is I see him screaming my name. I grab him and continue running towards the guild as fast as I can possibly go.
