A couple of days later, doppelganger Clark was finally able to travel, her Lexa and Indra said there goodbyes and along with some Trikru guards who had been summoned they, left for Polis. Because the doppelgangers had not been in the same area as Lexa and Clarke, there were no pre-existing glitches, but they only had about a day to get the doppelgangers home, before the glitching would start.

The plan was when they get to Polis, they would be introduced to Lexa and Clarke, so they could be thanked properly, for all their help and then they would have time to rest and pack, before Raven and Octavia would take them back to their own world.

They had stopped in their journey to Polis, for lunch and a break beside a really pretty stream. Doppleganger Clarke and Lexa were giving the horses some water.

"How are you feeling, Clarke?" Lexa asked.

"I am ok, kinda excited to be going home, but kinda not as well." Clarke replied stealing little longing glances at Lexa.

"Why are you not excited to be going home? I mea, it's great here but it's not home." Lexa asked.

"Ah, well, um, I'm going to miss you." Clarke stuttered.

"Oh," Lexa replied quietly and nervously, moving closer to Clarke and looking in her eyes, stealing yearning glances at her lips, "I kinda thought we could continue our relationship back there. I really like you Clarke, like alot, like a whole lot. I want to take you on many dates, well if you want to."

Clarke started smiling, "I really like you alot Lexa, I would love to go on dates with you." Clarke said before leaning in and kissing Lexa softly. 

Lexa ran her tongue over Clarke's lips, asking for permission to deepen the kiss, which Clarke happily granted. They kissed hungrily, until they were desperate for oxygen, but they only parted as far apart so that their foreheads rested on each other. Lexa recovered first and put her fingers under Clarke's chin, so Clarke was looking into Lexa's eyes.

"Clarke, I am in love with you. I lied before it's more than liking you, its more than love. I can't find the words to express what I feel for you. I know we haven't known each other long but I am so in love with you and I want to be yours for as long as you want me." Lexa poured her heart out to Clarke.

"You are in love with me?" Clarke asked smiling.

Lexa nodded, a little nervous, but hopeful.

Clarke kissed Lexa, with as much love as she could cram into the kiss, when they pull apart breathless, lips still touching, Clarke said, "I am so in love with you, Lexa, I think I always have been."

Lexa claimed Clarke's lips, knowing Raven and Octavia are right, they are soulmates and belong together. A cough from an approaching Indra, broke the couple apart.

"It's time to continue to Polis." Indra said, with what could only be described as a smirk on her face, before walking back to the guards, followed by a very happy Clarke and Lexa holding hands and hearteyeing each other.

They mount their horses and continue to Polis.

Clarke and Lexa decided they wanted to get momentos for their Doppelgangers, to remember their time in Polis. They knew they would need to cover up so people didn't know it was them, so both had hooded cloaks on that covered their heads and cast shadows on their facial features. They stopped in to see Raven and Octavia, on the way to Polis Markets, to see if they would like to join them.

Raven and Octavia loved the idea and decided to join them. Raven and Octavia also decided to get the doppelgangers gifts.

After wandering around for a while Clarke and Lexa decided to buy them swords, like the ones they themselves use, also adding Heda's symbol, Trikru symbol and Skaikru symbol etched into the blades.

Raven and Octavia decided to buy an assortment of candles for Doppelganger Lexa and a painting of the Polis "candle" tower for Clarke.

After getting some food, the four made their way back to the tower, it wouldn't be much longer before the Doppelgangers arrived.

As the Doppelgangers rode into the city, they were greeted with chants of Heda and Wanheda. Doppelganger Lexa leaned over and whispered to Doppelganger Clark, "I could get used to this type of worship. "

"Don't worry when we get behind closed doors I will be happy to worship you." Doppelganger Clarke whispered letter her eyes devour doppelganger Lexa's body.

Lexa blushed and tried to distract herself, from the now very dirty thoughts, she was having. They still had to meet this world's Clarke and Lexa and say all their goodbyes.

Strangely enough she realises she has had a great time, and that's down to the people they have worked with Indra has been the best guide they could have asked for, Raven and Octavia were fun even with their knowing grins and then there was Clarke. Beautiful, smart, sweet, sexy Clarke, she had claimed her heart almost instantaneously. Lexa never believed in love at first sight until she meet Clarke. And even after the kidnapping, where thankfully he had done nothing more to Clarke than sedate her, Lexa had loved her time here. Her only regret, was not protecting Clarke from Bellamy, but she has the rest of her life to make it up to her and she planned to every single day. 

She really could see a future with Clarke, in fact Lexa was sure that she would marry Clarke one day soon. The smile she got from thinking about spending the rest of her life with the amazing woman at her side, nothing could ever wipe off of her face.

They stop at the stables and dismount, following Indra into the tower, to the room beside Raven's. Indra knocked on the door and they waited.

Octavia answered the door, because it was supposed to be her room and this world's Clarke and Lexa can't risk being seen, until the Doppelgangers go home.

The two doppelgangers and Indra walked into the room. When the doppelgangers saw Clarke and Lexa and Clarke and Lexa saw the doppelgangers, they couldn't believe what they were seeing. It was so weird, seeing yourself, but after awhile they chatted and talked about their respective relationships and friends.

"We got you both a gift, to say thank you for filling in for us, hopefully it will remind you of your time here." Clarke said as Lexa went and got the swords.

"When I fell for Clarke, I had swords made for us. At the time I didn't know Clarke loved me, but I knew she loved my eyes and luckily for me her favourite colour is green, so I could get away with it." Lexa said presenting doppelganger Clarke with a beautifully made damaskin steel, Black sword, with gold filigree on the handle and bottom of the blade and an emerald at the base of the hilt. The blade had Heda's mark, Trikru and Skaikru mark etched into it. And presenting doppelganger Lexa with an identical sword with a sapphire in the hilt. "The green for Clarke, was because she loves my eyes and the blue for me was because I love Clarke's eyes. We both wield two swords, identical to these. We know they aren't needed in your world, but maybe you could hang them on a wall or something."

"Wow they are beautiful, thank you." Doppelganger Clarke said.

"They will definitely be a beautiful reminder of our time here, thank you." Doppelganger Lexa said.

"We also got you both a little something to say thank you," Raven said to the doppelgangers.

Raven pulled out the painting, for Doppleganger Clarke, of the tower in Polis. And Octavia handed over a selection of Lexa's favourite Candles to Doppelganger Lexa."our gifts have a candle theme." Raven and Octavia's laughed.

Everyone in the room laughed except for Lexa who blushed.

"Honestly, we can not thank you enough for filling in for us, if you hadn't there would be alot more problems to deal with." Clarke said.

"We are forever indebted to you." Lexa said. "Also we are so sorry for the kidnapping incident, he will pay."

After a bit more conversation it was decided the Doppelgangers would move into this room and Lexa and Clarke would go to their room. After bags were collected, and rooms swapped everyone ate, showered and slept in preparation for the next morning.
