Fight For Love

They were almost in their own territory, when an army  spotted following them. Rebel told her Indi, to take the two princesses and ride hard back to Polis. Which Indy reluctantly did.

"What's the plan, Reb, there are too many, not even you could take on that many." Jetta said.

"We need to maintain the distance between us, until our mums come with the army. It's all we can do. Indi won't let us down." Rebel said.

Indi didn't have to go far. When they crossed into grounder land, they could see a large group of riders, riding hard towards them.

She galloped towards them and saw her mums, Aunt Octavia, Aunt Luna, Aunt Indra and the royal army right behind them. Indy explained the situation and they left two guards with Gabby/Kleo and Tahlia, while Indy lead everyone else, at a gallop, back to Rebel, Jetta, Nyx and Dion.

They arrived to find the girls already fighting, Rebel had killed the king, but the girls were seriously outnumbered. Lexa lead the army into the fight, with Clarke and Indy at her side.

The grounders made short work of the Sou Mica army and left one a live to send a message.

Lexa dictated the message to the survivor.

To the Queen. The King, Prince and most of the army are dead, because they attacked my daughters and nieces. Your daughter and niece are safe with us, we will not stop them, should they want to return home. We have no interest in taking over your kingdom, but maybe we should discuss a peace treaty.

Clarke treated the injured, there were not many, as the grounders seriously out fought the Sou Mica Army, they were clearly not battle hardened warriors. There were no casualties and soon they were riding back to where Gabby/Kleo and Tahlia, were waiting.

As soon as Gabby saw Rebel alive and well,
she got off of her horse and ran to her. Rebel jumped off of her horse and caught Gabby, in her arms. They kissed hungrily, ignoring the cheers and teasing jeers, of those around them, before Gabby pulled back and checked Rebel over for injuries, "I thought I would never see you again." Gabby said slapping Rebels arm, "don't ever do that to me again. Your safety is more important."

"No, I will always come for you." Rebel said cutting what Gabby was going to say off, with a kiss.

Clarke rode up beside Lexa and leaned over to kiss her cheek, before whispering in her ear, "I was wrong, Rebel takes after me in the charm department, she has more game than you, my love."

"Hey," Lexa said, so just Clarke could here, "I kissed you first."

"Yes, but I kissed you best." Clarke teased, before turning to Rebel and Gabby, " Come on love birds, mount up and let's go home. You can make out there." Both the girls blushed but did as they were told.

They rode through Polis, victorious, the people celebrating the safe return of Hedakwin, the Kwin, and the two princesses, the most, but doing a great job of welcoming all home.

As they stopped at the stables, Lexa turned to Rebel and Indi and said, "Girls your mother and I would like to see you both in the throne room, now please."

Rebel and Indi dutifully followed their mothers, to the throne room, well aware they were about to be in trouble.

"As your Hedakwin, I'm angry that you disobeyed your orders and neglected your duties to your people. You are Crown Princesses, one of you could be the next Hedakwin, you can't make rash decisions that can endanger your lives. As a result, you will both be doing community service, at the orphanage. On top of that Rebel, you will continue to train Gabby and Indi you will train Tahlia."

"That's not fair, Rebel loves Gabby, Tahlia and I don't even like each other." Indi whined.

"Indigo, your mother's word is final, you will not disrespect her by questioning it." Clarke said sternly to her younger daughter.

"That being said, as your mother's we are extremely proud of you, Rebel, for following your heart and you, Indi, for backing your sister, regardless. We could not be prouder of you both."

"Thank you, mums." Both girls said, in unison.

"Now go get cleaned up and rest we love you both. Oh and Indi, give Tahlia the room beside yours, on the family floor." Clarke said.

The girls left as instructed and Lexa turned to Clarke and said,"are you match making again, my love?"

"Oh come on, don't tell me you didn't see the love hate relationship blossoming between those two. I was right about Rebel and Gabby, trust me, my beautiful wife, I am always right." Clarke said kissing Lexa, before she could object, then leading her to their room, to get cleaned up.
