"Wilburrrr come onnn!" Quackity teased him, trying to make things a bit less awkward.
"You can tell me, Wilburr"
"Shut the fuck up, Alex." He was getting honestly annoyed now. Even if he thought this guy was pretty, he was about to suffocate him with his pillow.
"Whyyyy? Is the wittle guy to embarrassed?" Quackity broke out in a high pitched, loud laugh that made Wilbur flinch a bit. He kind of enjoyed listening to the sound, but then he remembered that he was annoyed at this person.
There was another knock at the door, so Wilbur got up and opened it so you couldn't see Quackity sitting back on his bed.
It was Phil, and Phil had saw how red Wilbur was and got a bit suspicious. "Is uh- do you have someone in there?"
"Just a friend dad I'll be down in a bit thanks." He quickly shut the door, sitting down with his back pressed against it and sighing.
"Huh. My dad would've fuckin punched me if I did that-" He laughed in the same way again, but it sounded a bit sad to Wilbur.
"Was that a uh- a joke or not?" Quackity froze for a second, hesitant. "Yea, it was a joke Wil." He smiled, Wilbur not buying it. "Ok.. well wanna stay for-"
What was he doing? Inviting the person he despised most for breakfast?
He felt almost disappointment. Why'd he have to hate this guy? Why'd he have to like him?
"I'll walk you home,"
Quackity stepped up to his door, leaning down and picking up a fake rock with a key underneath and unlocking the door.
"So, I'll see you tomorrow Q?"
"Yea Wil, prepare to get punched and shoved in a locker."
He laughed. Genuinely. It felt kind of odd, but also good because of where it was coming from. What was he doing?
"I guess I should say the same to you, then, Alex."
Wilbur waved goodbye as Quackity did the same and opened the door to his house. Wilbur suddenly remembered Quackity's comment earlier and grew- worried?
Christ. What the actual fuck was he doing? Quackity was fine.
