./ Q's POV /.

Wilbur got expelled apparently. 

I'm not going to pry into what for, but apparently, he can't even get into college either. Do I really not know that much about my own boyfriend.?

Anyway, I'm on my way to first job interview. Sure, I've practiced before, but I'm still nervous as all hell. I just hope me and Wil are gonna turn out okay. His father drops me off outside the grocery store and I jump out, giving him a small wave as he wishes me luck.

About a day later, the woman who interviewed me tells me I got the job. 

On the first day (of christmas 😩)  its going fairly well. Of course it's boring, but every once in a while there'll be an odd customer I can laugh about in the breakroom. Oh yeah! Another plus, new friends!

I've met two guys so far that seem nice; their names are Roier and Luzu. They're both a little older than me. I like them both a lot, plus I can speak spanish around them.

That is, until one day, I see..

My father.

Here. Walking down my lane.

All I can do is pray he doesn't see me. So, of course, he does see me.

"Alexis?" "P-Papa! I-" "Come home. Now. I don't care if your working. Your mother is worried sick, do you want to do this to her?!" I flinch at his raised voice. 

"I- I can't come home now. Why.?" "Ay, feo niño. I just told you. I am your father, I will not ask again!" I flinch again, taking a small step back and hitting someone behind me, making me squeak.

"Is there an issue?" Luzu. Thank god.

My father stares between me and him for a moment before just slamming a ten on the counter and walking off. "I hope he doesn't want a receipt.." He mutters. I immediately turn and hug him.

"Who was that? ..Quackity-?" I pulled away, blushing slightly from embarrassment. At least, i hope it's embarrassment. He pats my head and walks off after I give him a small shrug and nod of acknowledgement.

Hopefully Wilbur had a better day than I did.
