You were once again surprised at this revelation. They're childhood friends? Honestly.. You sighed and nodded.

"So what's the plan?"

"Laws of the Queen of Hearts, No. 249 states:

"The one in charge of feeding the flamingos must wear pink."

You were supposed to be in charge of feeding the flamingos today. Where is your pink? Why aren't you wearing it?" Riddle asked a blonde resident and stared him down. The scene was now back in Heartslabyul. The Unbirthday Party was now already over. Riddle was quite disappointed that he didn't have the chance to play croquet with you due to your sudden passing out.

"My deepest apologies, Dorm Leader... I-It's being washed! Please, don't cut off my head!" The blonde begged with a slight desperation evident in his voice. He clearly didn't want to be beheaded, but who knew if he was telling the truth or not. Riddle narrowed his eyes at him before shaking his head disapprovingly.

"This is the second time you've broken the rules. I can no longer overlook it." The crimson tyrant spoke up and took out his magical pen. "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!!" He yelled out without even pausing to hear the blonde out further. The sentence was already initiated, the familiar collar of the tyrant's unique magic locking around the student's neck with a deafening click. "Guwaaah!!"

"Make a 5000 word written apology and weed the garden for a week. Then I will gladly unseal your magic." Riddle spoke authoritatively like always, not phased by the student's scream. The student sobbed, wanting to retaliate. "That's...." He didn't even finish the sentence, and so Riddle spoke up once more.

"I'm not taking your head because I want to! It's because you all break the rules! Enforcing the rules is for your own benefit. Understood? Trey. Cater. Take him outside." Riddle frowned, his face twisting in anger as he stared down the blonde. He proceeded to order the two mentioned upperclassmen who only nodded, both of them having a serious look on their face. "...Yes, Dorm Leader."

DRIP... DRIP... DRIP...

Meanwhile, you along with the braincell duo and fire cat were chilling in the school's library. You were reading some books about (insert something idk) while Grim snoozed off on the table on top of some books you had taken out. Deuce was reading along with you while Ace was just on the look-out for Trey to finally arrive, not really doing anything. They told you they planned to ambush Trey since they figured that he might come to the library to return the cookbook he borrowed. You didn't even notice the cookbook when you arrived to help the group with the mont blanc. But it saved the trouble of seeking out Trey by yourselves. Soon enough, Trey entered the quiet library with the cookbook in hand and went to the section where he got the book from.

"Clover-senpai." Deuce stood up and approached Trey first before all of you followed after Deuce, you trying to wake up Grim while they talked to Trey, who turned around to look at them. "It's you guys..."

"We figured you'd come to the library to return the cookbook for the mont blanc and camped out here." Deuce informed Trey while he crossed his arms. Ace piped into the conversation once Deuce stopped talking, standing right beside him.

"We really can't agree with the way Riddle is doing things." It seems he chose to break the ice, huh... You thought when Grim finally woke up, standing up and walking towards them, too. "...I bet." Trey sighed, shaking his head.

"What do you really think about him? Since you were kids, have you always been so subservient to him?" Trey suddenly glared at Ace and crossed his arms, suspicious of him, probably. Honestly, if you were in his place and somebody walked up to you mentioning something you haven't told them about you'd probably react the same... "Who did you hear that from?" Trey questioned while you were in your mind, thinking. What else could you do? You were unconscious up until recently.

"From a guy named Chen'ya." Deuce mentioned that weird name again. Who in their right mind would name their kid like that anyway? Eh, there are worse names though. So you guess it's fine.

"Chen'ya... Ah, that guy."

"Aren't you also older than Riddle? Just get angry at him." Grim spoke up, now fully awake in your arms. His big blue eyes stared at Trey as if he was judging him for not thinking about that.

"I'd do it if I felt it was necessary. But... I can't bring myself to scold him." Trey shook his head and you raised your brow at him. Why couldn't he? He has every right to scold him, no? "Why!?" Ace said with a frustrated tone, once again voicing probably everyone's question. Or your question, at the very least. What was he, a mind reader?

"Everything Riddle is was "made" by following strict rules. " Trey started and oh boy it was another story....

"..Huh?"

"In his homeland there isn't a single person who hasn't heard of his parents. As healers, they're that famous. His mother is especially exceptional and she wanted Riddle to be exceptional as well. So from dawn till dusk, his every move was decided for him, down to the smallest thing, as part of his study program." Huh... well, that was a little unexpected... Grim squirmed in your arms. "Down... to the smallest thing?" Trey nodded in response silently to Grim's question.

"From what he ate, what he wore, what soap he used, to his friends, everything was decided for him." Trey continued with his storytelling, listing a few things while he was at it. "Nevertheless, Riddle never said a word and strived to meet those expectations and completed his unique magic at age 10. On top of that, he has maintained his spot at the top since elementary school." Wait... completed his unique magic? Now that you think about it, how did people here develop their unique magic? Was it really as similar to exclusive magic as you thought? Why were you calling it exclusive again? It's not even called that... "I can't even begin to imagine how difficult that must've been."

"That sure seems.. awful." You commented, but despite what you were saying, you narrowed your eyes at Trey. If he really thought that, why didn't he do anything?

"Riddle thinks being bound by strict rules is for one's own benefit. He was bound by harsh rules and still became a leader so he believes it works for anyone. Anyone can become like him. And that means breaking the rules is utterly unacceptable. I mean..." Trey continued and then before he could continue telling us more, Ace cut into his sentence, continuing for him. His brows furrowed. "If he gives a rule violation any sort of positive reaction, it means he's going against the way he was made... You mean?" He had a hand placed on his hip and his one arm raised up just slightly, his eyes were narrowed as well.

"...I understand why you think he's a tyrant. And that his way of doing things is incorrect. But for me... I just can't bring myself to scold him." Grim visibly deflated as Trey finished his little explanation with a shake of the head. Your eyes were still narrowed at Trey. Deuce was in a similar state as Grim. "Ryōchō has a past like that..."

"...After hearing all this, I finally understand." Ace put both his hands to his hips, his glare not leaving his face as he frowned. "The way Riddle is now, is your fault."
