"Ready your magical pens everyone. Your special lesson with the headmaster isn't over yet."
The headmaster announced with a grin on his face, and then, the friendly fight with the ghosts began.

The trio fought with the staff ghosts with their magic while Katya and you just watched them with amusement and interest. All of you were still confused as to what the point of this little exercise was. It obviously had to do with blot, but you weren't quite sure as to why fighting was necessary. You watched as the trio continued to pant and heave. Grim had a big ol' frown on his furry face and you could tell he had something to say about that.
"Oi, 学園長! Talking about blot and fighting ghosts have nothing to do with each other!" He spoke with a slight glare aimed at the man in question. But, the headmaster was not fazed in the slightest. He merely brought up a hand and pointed at Grim's magic crystal around his neck. You were curious and your gaze followed the crow's hand. The purplish crystal now had a small black dot on it..
"Grim, take a good look at the magic crystal around your neck." the headmaster calmly told the fire cat, the monster in question doing as he was told. You really wished he'd listen like that when you're trying to tell him what to NOT do.. You saw his blue eyes go wide in surprise. "Funa!? There are some weird blotches on my crystal!? I can't wipe them off!" He complained as he continuously wiped at it with his paws.
"There should be black smudges that look like ink drops on your crystals. Those are the blots created from using magic." Crowley informed them while the two braincells took a look at their own pens as well. Both of them seeing similar black spots on their own crystals. "If I look close, there's small smudges on my magic pen as well..!" Deuce spoke with a bewildered look on his face. "Blegh, it's so dirty!" Grim gagged and stopped looking at his crystal, a disgusted look on his face.
Katya put a hand to her chin, observing the blot with careful eyes. "Hmmm.. does it eventually disappear? If it's waste from magic as you said, headmaster, then it should disappear over a certain amount of time with certain procedures, right?" she questioned, an intrigued look on her face and you caught her tail wag a bit. She appeared to be very excited about this new information. She certainly planned something with this blot knowledge. You knew how much she loved the unknown, especially such unknowns like this "blot". She has always had an interest for studying things she takes a fancy to, no matter if they were useful or not in the end.
"Why yes. With enough rest, the blots will vanish in a matter of time." Crowley nodded in response. That confirmation reassured both you and Katya, and even the trio who actually had accumulated some blot. "Phew! I'm relieved!" Grim piped in, his body language becoming a lot more lax than it was just a second ago. The headmaster was smiling all the while. You wondered if he remembered his promise.. he certainly didn't look like it, and it already has been some time. Surely he should have some information by now, right? Well, even if not, it's not too bad, since Katya somehow arrived here along with someone else.. you should look into it, if you can figure out who it would even be.
"Magic crystals don't only help with performing spells, but they also prevent blots from accumulating directly within the caster. They are truly a wonderful item that can shoulder your burdens." You heard the headmaster speak, but you didn't really pay attention to what he was saying at first. But you did wonder if blot would be harder to get rid of or if it would accumulate faster if it would accumulate directly in the caster.. you'll keep that question to yourself for a later date. You did not want to be cut off by the headmaster for the nth time..
