chapter 10 - what was it like to fall in love again?

Thank you's were heard from the front of the stage as Y/N took the towels and some water bottles for the girls since they just finished day 2 of their Seoul concerts which would kick off their world tour but had to wait till October to resume it again, the sweaty exhausted girls go to the side offstage waving at MIDZY's goodbye as they took the towels from Y/N who was holding it out for them and put it on their foreheads, he opens the water bottles as Yuna and Ryujin put their heads on his shoulders, Chaeryeong hugs him from the front as staff just softly smiled at the sight of the tired girls.

Y/N - so how was it?

Chaer - okayyyyy

Ryujin - tiring.

Yuna - you're my bed now.

Yuna just wraps her arm around Y/N's as he softly smiles at the maknae's cuteness as Yeji and Lia just put their heads on each other, they sat on the ground regaining their energy while the staff slowly make their way over to the tired two on the girls telling them to get up since they need to change out of their outfits, to which they obliged.

Y/N taps the two on his shoulders

Y/N - okay okay girls, you can resume your sleepy time at home, come on, let's get you out of those

The two girls tiredly nod as Yuna yawns, they walk over to their changing rooms as Y/N just carries Chaeryeong in his arms since she wouldn't budge.

After Y/N drops off the girls, he just sits on the ground sighing as it was already a busy 2 days taking care of the 5 girls as each of the staff congratulate Y/N on his hard work since the months he became their new manager, a staff member goes up to Y/N and pats him on the back while giving him a bottle of water

Staff - good job today!

Y/N - thank you!

The staff member walks away as Y/N smiles at them with a thumbs up. He just lays there chugging the bottle as every one of the staff members gives a thumbs up to Y/N which makes him feel appreciated for his hard work so far.

After some time, the now drowsy girls walk out of the changing room as they greet the staff goodbye. Yuna immediately runs up to Y/N putting him into a hug, he caressed her hair as the tired girl coddles him

Y/N - sleepy huh?

Yuna - mmhm

The rest of the girls join in giving Y/N a group hug without saying a word as they indulge in the warmth of each other.

After breaking off the hug, they all head outside where MIDZY's are surrounding them as they wave goodbye to them, after getting through the stampede of them, they finally get into their van as they wave at them.

The girls soon fall asleep in the van without saying a word with Y/N focusing on the road ahead of him.

It sure was quiet, and late to say the least. The streets only echoed of clubs, bars, and the nightlife but at this point, Y/N was already near the dorm apartment building where every building was just dead silent.

He admired the streets as dim lighting from the lamp posts lit the streets on the side of the roads. Some people passed by looking at the van which was one of the few cars driving along on the road.

Y/N thinks to himself about the one person he still couldn't get his mind out of. Ji-eun.

It was just one day, but she. She made such an impact on him, just one day. He just sadly watches the road as he remembers the moments he spent with her. He just shakes it off and proceeds to make it home. Coming home and parking in the garage, he wakes up the girls and proceeds to carry the maknae on his back since she was already dead asleep while the rest were awake enough to carry themselves upstairs on their own. Reaching their apartment, they give Y/N a goodnight kiss and tell each other goodnight as they reach their rooms. Yuna who was still on his back, wakes up quietly as she feels Y/N putting her down into her bed, but she stops him nudging on his sleeve
