85. Some Relative

The next few chapters will reveal Maguro's situation. Might not be a real nice thing to read but let's just get Maguro's secret out of the way first yes?

Some recaps for the previous chapter:

Lifting her chin up, Toge hovered his lips on her soft red lips and whispered to her while staring into her eyes hungrily, "I can show you more when we're alone."

He was about to smirk at the sight of her red blushes spreads to her ears when Maguro bite her lips determinedly and mercilessly started to tickle his sides.

The whole Heir's Hall echoed with Toge's and Maguro's laughter.

They have a total of 6 days left for the holidays. As the arrangements was free and easy, the groups are free to roam about the manor ground as well as the streets and temples nearby.

Night falls quickly. Everyone is to come back to the Inumaki Manor to have dinner and mingle. It wasn't an arrangement, but its somehow something everyone agreed to do it silently. Dinner is always at the manor, and to be had with everyone.

Everyone changed into a comfortable yukata provided by the Inumaki family after a quick cold shower. The day is hot, and the yukata they were given is much more comfortable to be worn on such a hot weather. 

And here, Maguro had the pleasant surprise to be introduced to Toge's little brothers and sister.

They knew who she is, and crowded around her, stealing her attention away from Toge with their cuteness.

"Nee-chan, Nee-chan!" Miharu, Toge's younger brother called her cutely. Yoite hovered behind Miharu shyly but gave Maguro a nervous smile when Maguro caught him looking at her. They're so cute, and though they each have defining features such as their hair and their eyes, both of them looked a little like a younger Inumaki Toge. "Nee-chan, I'm Miharu. This is Yoite. We're Onii-chan's brothers."

Toge smiled at Maguro and gestured with his head encouragingly at her.

Maguro crouched down and introduced herself to them happily. "Hajimemashite. I'm Maguro. I'm your big brother's girlfriend."

Toge spluttered halfway through drinking his tea and coughed violently. He could feel that uncomfortable burning sensation when the tea backtracked up to his nose.

No. Not that her introduction is wrong. He's just stunned. Surprised. Shocked.

She said it openly. Admitted it openly. Without embarrassment. 

Internally, he's happy. He's happy that she has accepted they are together, and there's nothing embarrassing about it being known to public.

But the feeling of water up his nose was horrible. It was a torture to endure it.

Maguro touched Toge's face gently, her warm fingertips glowed its golden hue energy to ease Toge's discomfort. Toge sighed in relief upon feeling the burning pinch behind his nose disappears.

"Thank you, Maguro," Toge said, grasping her hand on his face and kisses her palm. Maguro squeaked in surprise and retracted her hand quickly, leaving Toge to stare at her in wide-eyed surprise.
