You'd have to tell them eventually but you didn't know how they'd react, Donnie's reaction would more then likely result in him listing off everything known about it or question you to no end on the subject

So as you traverse through the sewer tunnels beneath new york to the turtles lair you tried to think of a way to breach the subject...

The moment you stepped into the lair the first thing you noticed was Donnie's lab door open and Mikey being shoved out

"Mikey I told you to knock first and to stop touching things! Last time you almost burned your hand with my chemistry set!"

"Hey short stack! Ya gonna stand in the entryway or are ya gonna come in?"

You perked up at the sound of raph's gruff voice, not very often is he already in the living room when you get there but you supposed that just made gathering them easier

"R-right um sorry Just got distracted... Hey um where's Leo?"

"Probably in the dojo with pops... Why?"

You grabbed the sleeve's of your hoodie down by your hands and tried to hide the fidgeting

"Oh um well I just need to talk to you guys about something and obviously Leo is one of you"

He only gave a gruff hum before going back the show that was on, only to turn and hiss at Mikey and Donnie still bickering
"Would you two numskulls stop yapping and come sit down I know you heard he-"

You rushed out of the room before you could hear the end of that sentence, the grip on your sleeves tightening as you turned the corner to the dojo

You took a deep breath and slowly pushed the screen divider separating the rest of the lair from the dojo open slightly

Poking your head in you found Leo sitting by a table with a tea pot on it
"Leo?"
He perks up and turns her head to look at you over his shell

"Can um... Can you come meet me in the living room I've got something important to tell everyone"

He stands up and nods "yeah sure just let me put the kettle up and I be there in a few minutes"

You nod in return and turn on your heel, walking back out to the living room

"You good angel cakes?"
"Oh um yeah, I'm just fine" you can only give a nervous smile in return, it obvious that you're lying through your teeth but they don't push you on the subject

The moment Leo steps into the living room you start fidgeting again, and as he takes a seat you have to take a deep breath and force yourself not to pace as you talk
