Juliette had been off work for a week since she had been discharged from the hospital, she had spent shifts with her brother at the firehouse since Hank made sure she didn't go into work so she rests and recovers however that didn't go exactly to plan; Juliette had been helping Chief Boden out seeing as Connie was off.
"Thank you for staying last night Bri' you didn't have to though" Juliette said to Otis as they sat at her kitchen island with a coffee in their hands. Juliette had phoned Otis at 11pm after she had a scare, someone was in her back garden and tried to get into her house, she may have been a detective but she was terrified, she didn't know who it was but it was a man, a lot taller than her. Otis went straight round to Juliette's place, she wanted to make sure she was okay and safe after he had found out what had happened and Juliette couldn't thank him enough, she was terrified and he made her feel a lot better.
"I did have to stay July' I had to stay to make sure you were safe" Otis said softly to Juliette who smiled.
"I don't even know what got into me Bri' I was terrified, I don't even know what I thought" Juliette admitted as she propped herself up with her head resting on her hand.
"Juliette you're my little sister. I had to make sure you were okay, I had to make sure you were safe, there was someone trying to break into your house" Otis said to Juliette who smiled.
"So how are you feeling about going back to work?" Otis then changed the subject to help Juliette take her mind off the whole evening.
"I'm more than ready for it. It's been too long for me to be off" Juliette said sipping her coffee.
"But you are only on half day today to ease you back in. And you've got a shift with me tonight" Otis said smiling, he was ready for Juliette to be working along side him, it was going to be a fun journey and he'd be their to support and help Juliette whenever she needed it, just like he did the previous night..
"I am on half day today, I'm going to the gym once I finish and get some training in, maybe see if theirs any competitions coming up I could get in to compete again." Juliette said said positively.
"Just promise me you won't go injuring yourself again" Otis said to Juliette who smiled.
"Cross my heart" Juliette said with a smile on her face.
"Right i best get ready for work, feel free to make yourself breakfast" Juliette said.
"Do you want anything to eat?" Otis asked.
"I'm not exactly hungry right now but if you want me to eat something then surprise me" Juliette shrugged, sometimes she wasn't in the mood for breakfast.
"We'll I'm cooking you some breakfast, you need to eat July' you need breakfast" Otis said to Juliette which made her frown, she didn't think her brother was a good cook, he could barely make toast without burning it.
