"Five-Thirty"

Taehyung's body clock wakes him up at five-thirty on a Saturday morning. He tilts his head to the left to stare at Jungkook who's still asleep. Jungkook is so pale that Taehyung thinks if he becomes at least two shades lighter, he'd be as white as the bed sheets. Taehyung knows how Jungkook hates waking up early on weekends. He has listened to Jungkook's endless complaints so he should know. Keeping this in mind, Taehyung sits up as gently as he could, so as not to jostle Jungkook, and begins to get up.

"Yah, where are you going?" Jungkook's voice is slightly muffled by the pillow. Taehyung almost doesn't hear, actually, but what stops him is the hand around his wrist. "Are you going to leave me here all alone?" Jungkook murmurs sleepily.

"I thought you were sleeping," Taehyung leans back down to kiss Jungkook. "And I was just going for a walk."

Jungkook shakes his head. "I won't allow it. You're not allowed to leave me alone."

Taehyung smiles at Jungkook's cheesiness. "You're supposed to be the more mature one, Sir." He holds Jungkook's hand and sits up again. "Since I'm not allowed to leave you alone, how about you just come with me?"

"No way," Jungkook groans and buries his head in the pillow. "I won't get up from this bed until it's past noon."

"Even if it's for me?" Taehyung pouts.

"I'm not going to open my eyes," Jungkook burrows his head even further into the pillow. "You're making that face, for sure."

"Please, hyung? Let's go for a walk together. I'll even treat you to breakfast afterwards."

Jungkook is silent. Taehyung waits for a few more seconds but Jungkook doesn't even move. Thinking that the elder has probably fallen asleep again, Taehyung begins to loosen his hold on Jungkook's hand. And just as he is about to stand up, he hears the soft rustle of the sheets behind him.

"All right. Fine. But I don't want instant ramen for breakfast."
