It was 5 AM when Shota came back to the dorms to see everyone in the kitchen eating breakfast. 'oh their up' he thought. Shota wasn't expecting them to notice or say anything so he just walked to his room to grab his stuff for practice but before he could he heard someone call his name
"Shota" Jiung says
soul turns around and walks back to the kitchen
"yea?"
"Where the hell were you Haku Shota?" Keeho yelled at the young boy.
"Do you not know how to answer your phone? You left yesterday without a word and when Jongseob asked where you were you gave him a shitty small awnser," Theo scoffs at and scolds the Japanese boy.
"Seriously Soul-ie. What is wrong with you.. Whats going on?" Jongseob softly asked him.
"What the hell is up with me? Really?" Shota said angrily and shocked not believing that they were mad at him after having spent months ignoring him.
"Yah! Don't speak to our maknae that way Shota," Keeho snapped at him, making Shota falter for a moment.
"your maknae?" Shota scoffs. "He's my maknae to.. he's my bestfriend" 'or atleast i thought so' Shota whispers that part to himself but clealry not quiet enough cause Intak had heard him.
"What do you mean?' Intak asks
"Nothing" Shota replies coldly
"You've been acting weird for weeks Soul, you don't speak to us anymore unless your leading practice" Jiung says
"and to add on to that, any time that we don't have a schedule you're on your phone talking to that Riki kid," Intak says.
How could they be scolding Shota right now? They had spent months ignoring and making Shota feel terrible, and now they are acting like he is some terrible kid that doesn't talk to them.
"Are you kidding me? So what I can't have some friends now?" Soul barked back at them sarcastically.
"No one's saying that you can't have friends Shota, but are you sure that Riki is a good friend?"
"Like are you sure Riki is a good influence.. because ever since you started speaking to him you wont even speak to us," Jongseob had told Soul.
"you even leave the dorm without telling us anything.." Keeho says annoyed, "You really need to re-evaluate your friendship with this Riki kid if this is how you're going to act." Shota was shocked. He couldn't move. How could they say such a thing about a kid they have never even met. Everyone had stayed silent there for a minute, until Keeho spoke up
"Wait a minute.. whose clothes are those?" Keeho asks
Shota didn't awnser. he was still in shock
"Shota are those that Riki kid's clothes?" Jiung asks annoyed
"Shota-" Jongseob goes to grab his hand but Soul pushes him off
"No. No they aren't. and why do you care who's clothes they are." Soul said angrily
"Don't lie to us-" Theo started
"They're Jungwon Hyung's. For the love of God." Shota blurted out
"Jungwon hyung? As in Enhypen's Jungwon? Jongseob says
"Yea."
"Is that who you meant when you said with sum friends?" Jongseob asks
"Yea.. I was with all of them. they are all my friends.. You know, people who actually care about me. What you got a problem with people actually caring for me?" Shota snaps back
"TF is your problem Shota. You dont speak to our maknae like that. Respect your members.. You seem to forget respect is a big thing here" keeho says angrily
"What The fuck is your guy's problem.. How am i gonna show respect when you guys dont even give me any.."
"Shota what do you mean? We aren't giving you respect because your acting like a brat lately" Theo says
Shota scoffs and shoves Jongseobs hand off his arm "Im being a brat?"
"Yea you are" theo responds back
"How am i the brat"
"You wanna know?" Theo scoffs
"hyung just leave him be..." Intak says as
"You know, actually I wanna know what the fuck your guy's problem is thats what i wanna know." Shota yells back
"My problem?" Theo scoffs "What about yours. you dont talk to us anymore and instead leave of for Enhypen. and you now start fights with us What even happened to you."
"Nothing happened to me Taeyang-"
"YAH USE RESPECT HE IS YOUR HYUNG" Keeho yells at the boy
"HOW ABOUT YOU LET ME FINISH"
"you dont even talk to me anymore.. You dont even car-..." And Soul stops, why would they even care now.. telling them wont change what they started "you know what nevermind, just leave me alone"
"SHOTA JUST FUCKING TELL US WHAT YOUR PROBLEM IS" Jiung grabbed soul's hand and made him face Jiung
"FINE YOU TRULY WANNA KNOW.. WANNA KNOW AFTER MONTHS OF NOT CARING"
"YAH SHOTA-"
"No! It's my turn to talk now. Have you guys seriously not noticed? Are you actually that oblivious?"
The members all stared at Shota not understanding what the hell he was talking about.
Shota scoffs and forces out a laugh as the members look at him like he has gone mad
"You all have spent literal months! SIX MONTHS TO BE EXACT! Neglecting me. None of you ever ask me to hang out anymore, and none of you spend time with me anymore!" Shota yelled at the members as tears began to stream down his cheeks.
"Oh bullshit Soul, I tried to invite you on a picnic with all of us, I-" Theo attempted to weakly defend.
"THATS BULLSHIT!, no you fucking didn't," Soul snapped continuing to drop honorifics, "You asked me out of pity because you thought I wasn't in the room. You started talking about your plans right in front of me and didn't want to invite me. I didn't want a pity invite when none of you thought about me in the first place."
"Oh c'mon, that's enough. Intak and I took you to an arcade-like 2 weeks ago." Jiung try
"Weeks?" Shota laughed, "Jiung that was 7 months ago!"
Jiung recoiled at the sharp tone of his younger member's voice and he realized that Shota was right, that Arcade visit was done a while ago.
" I can't believe you, any of you," Soul continued, "You spend months ignoring me, and when I spend time with some people who actually give at least one shit about me you all get mad and act like I'm the bad guy? After all of you spent months acting like I didn't exist and just left me out," Soul forced a laugh out while tears streamed down his face
"Enhypen is a great group. And Riki is a great guy, if any of you fucking bothered to talk to me in the past few months or weeks and tried to spend time with me then you would know that." Shota told them as he turned his heel and left the dorm.
Everyone sat in silence, stunned at what the Japanese member had told them. How did they not realize? Shota was right it had been months since any of them spent time with him and the worst part of it was. None of them even knew why.
Shota had gone to Enhypen's studio that day after the argument and cried to them about it while Jay and Jake held him in their arms. They completely understood the boy being upset with his group and were extremely tempted to storm into P1harmony's dorm and beat the shit out of each one of them. They spent half of their practice that day cuddling and comforting the Japanese member of P1harmony and the other half going to get ice cream and having a small picnic on the beach with him, to cheer him up
