Mephiles pov

    I looked up at Shadow, Rouge, and Knuckles preparing to tell them why I helped Sonic. "He found me in the woods all battered and bruised up. He took me into his house to patch me up..... After I woke up, because I passed out before he found me he was so hospitable to me and I felt an emotion I'd never thought I would feel again..... Genuine love. I knew when I've seen him for the first time i knew there was something there but I ignored it untill I had to kill him and well you know the rest to that story." I sigh amd kept talking "you three must wonder why me, of all others on this rock you call Mobius am in love with sonic..... I dont know myself but him being so hurt like that I couldn't sit and watch."

Shadow pov
    
    As Mephiles was telling us I was feeling anger. He killed the blue bitch for crying out loud and he just comes back, helps sonic and now is acting all buddy buddy with us? No he must be lying to trick us so he can kill sonic again and we'd have to go through that hassle of bringing him back to life again. I hated that whole thing

Rouge pov

   I looked at the now demi god and say "so you are saying you helped him out of genuine love and feelings for him?" All Mephiles did was nod and look at sonic's sleeping figure. Looking into Mephiles' eyes caught me by surprise. His eyes had a slight sparkle to them making me know hes telling the truth. Sure hes a previous villain but I'll give him a chance to prove himself as a good allie and or friend

Sonic pov

   I wasn't fully asleep but I pretend to just to listen in i got a flood of memories back from my adventure during Soliana and the whole situation with the princess..... My killer actually loves me? I thought it would be shadow who would have unexpected feelings for me but no........ Fate has other plans for me now.
