The sound of his mate crossed Winger's ears as the Night Fury sat next to the Swiftwing. "I've been flying across the whole island for you."
"You want another rematch, don't you, slowpoke?" Winger teased. "Hey!" Shadow pouted. "I beat you a few times before Summer told you how to beat me."
"Yeah, tell her I said thank you," Winger said. "No I will not." Shadow said. "Oh yes you will." Winger smirked. "Oh really?" Shadow asked. "Really!" Winger said. "Okay that's it, ima..."
Shadow tackled Winger as they both rolled down the hill. Soon they stopped and looked deep in each other's eyes.
Shadow was looking into the bright yellow eyes he fell in love with. Before he met Winger, he had a hard time trusting anyone actually. Winger and the nightlights had really changed his life. He doesn't have to hide secrets anymore.
