Izzy yelled as I walked into the ops centre for the first time in weeks as I had been on personal leave, I smiled at her,
'hey',
I said quietly simply, everyone's attention was on me. Jace looked at me slightly confused but quiet happy to see me,
'how's everyone doing?',
I said a little bit more enthusiastically. Magnus quickly stood up from his desk and walked towards me engulfing me in a hug,
'have you talked to him yet?',
Magnus whispered in my ear referring to Jace, I pulled away from him and shook my head slightly,
'well, he's coming this way so look alive',
Magnus said, I let out a somewhat shaky breath as I could see Jace out of the corner of my eye,
'now if you excuse me Miss Y/l/n and I have some things to discuss in private',
Jace said quickly grabbing my hand and pulling me away from everyone else, he let go of my hand folding his arms and somewhat began to stare me down,
'were you planning on telling me you were back in town?'.
