Everyone's eyes were on her as Minjun tugged her around to make everyone drop their guns.
"I SAID DROP YOUR FUCKING GUN-" Minjun couldn't complete as she kicked his knee.
She tried to point his gun away, and in that very tussle the gun fired. Her eyes went to where it shot. Her heart drops to her stomach when she saw that it grazed Taehyung.
The mistake she made from her childhood repeated in the back of her mind.
I had shot Jimin's father the same way. Her mind reminded her.
She lost the awareness of her surroundings as her mind settled onto the bad memories. She was being dragged away by Minjun but her eyes were glued at Taehyung as a frown appears on his face because of the pain.
Yoongi jumped out of nowhere onto Minjun and tackled him away from Y/n. She stopped in her tracks, eyes still glued on Taehyung, her mind still playing the flashes of her past.
"Y/n! Y/n!" Yoongi shook her back to reality.
"Yoongi?" She called him when she realised that it was him infront of her. "How? When did you-"
"There's no time, let's get out from here." Yoongi hurried her out.
Jimin laced his hand with hers when he came close to her.
"Y/n." Jimin held up her face. "Don't think about anything now. Only think about getting out safely." He asked her and she nodded.
Everyone was scattered outside, firing back at eachother. None could get into a car and escape safely because when one tried the car was blown up.
"When we get home, I need you to repay me for this." Taehyung said to Y/n.
"Taehyung can you please, respectfully shut the fuck up?" Jimin asked in a soft sarcastic voice.
"Of course you will take her side now." Taehyung muttered.
"Taehyung, it's not the time-" Y/n stopped Jimin from continuing the unnecessary banter.
"For that to happen, get me out of here alive." Y/n replied to Taehyung, and he didn't answer her back looking at her condition which was worse than his.
"You will be fine Y/n. Don't say anything like that." Jungkook said as he took shelter to hid with them.
"I'm joking Jungkook." She assured him.
"Shut up." Jungkook sternly retorted.
Jimin intertwined his hand with hers, his eyes staring at their hands.
"Jimin?" She called.
"I'm sorry for what I did that day." Jimin started apologising for his childhood mistake.
"Let's not-"
"No. I saw how you felt when the bullet hit Taehyung. I always made you feel like that you made a mistake that day. I myself believed that you were in the wrong, I never understood that you were also just a kid. A child that didn't even know what had happened. I've hated and caused you an unreasonable amount of problems and pain. Even now." Jimin could not meet Y/n's eyes.
"When I saw you hanged upside down, with bloodied shoulder. It reminded me of..of that image and that scared me for what might've happen, because it was all I could think of." He stopped and shook his head no. "If I didn't act like an idiot I did that day, our situation would've been very different. I'm so sorry." He breathe out as he tried holding his tears.
Taehyung and Jungkook were sadly glancing at him.
"Jimin." Y/n made him look at her. "You were a child too. You knew nothing better. And yes I agree to some of the things you've said, but all we can do now is be better. Whatever you did or not, this place will always hold a place in our hearts because of what happened with our fathers." She said.
