Part 1
As Batman figures out Red Hood's identity, he is targeted as well. Then, Catwoman arrives as Red Hood and Batman run into each other. She reveals that the one manipulating the Mafia into destroying itself wears a red hood. Then, as soon as the GCPD surrounds Batman, Red Hood must have manipulated them into a trap.
Red Hood: "Sorry, Batman, you leave me no choice."
Part 2
With Batman injured as well as Commissioner Gordon, Red Hood decides to do as he pleases to the city, by getting rid of all crime. Then, a rejuvenated Batman faces Red Hood in battle and in the end, Red Hood falls into a vat of chemicals.
Red Hood: "You still don't understand, do you, Batman?! You need me! You're all I've got! I'm the answer to your life's questions! Without you, I'm forever broken! And, without me, you're just a joke... without a punchline!"
Batman returns to the Batcave where he apologizes to Alfred about who Red Hood really is. Then, a washed up Red Hood takes off his helmet to find that his face has been altered to that of a clown. He became the Joker.
