so apparently kai decided to drag me to his house so he could fix my glasses and uh- lecture his annoying brother i guess

i was in his house with a blink. i should seriously get used to this teleporting cause it's annoying as hell

"welcome home"
kai said smiling and i looked around the place to see dark paintings around the walls and upstairs containing 3 rooms

taehyun didn't even bother to look at us and walked upstairs

the house was pretty dark and black overall. it doesn't really give of 'kai' vibes

i started following kai as he guestured me to the couch. and infront of it there was a tv

"soo uh-"
kai's words got cut off with a door closing upstairs loudly making both of us flinch

"don't mind taehyun"
kai said awkwardly smiling at me. and i realized that it was more awkward in the house rather than outside

"about fixing your glasses- i-i need to ask taehyun first"
kai said stepping back to walk away

"just wait here"
he said walking away slowly leaving me in a quiet place with the light source barely existing

i also noticed the atmosphere of the place being cold rather than warm inside the house

for a second i felt like i was kidnapped but i just sigh and let it go closing my eyes and taking a deep breath

after a while kai came back with a smile on his face and some books in his hands making me curious about the books

"let's go. i also borrowed some books from taehyun in case you might get bored"
kai said speaking quietly. maybe this house had a bad history?

"okay"
i simply reply processing what is happening but stood up and any way walking away with kai

"don't freak out"
kai said making me confused. he opened the third room door getting inside the room

i went inside the room slowly to see two tables there with different this on it. one with different types of glasses. the other one books. all books

i got up excited and ran up to the books no offense and started looking through them while kai came up to me

"your glasses?"
he said and i immediately took them off and gave it to him and he took them from me walking away

"what's this room?"
i asked kai while reading titles of some books while i saw books that i actually have read

"this is where taehyun does his weird magic"
kai said making it sound like its like a circus in here almost making me laugh

i was going through the books not turning around at kai and saw a familiar book

a book that i lost years ago. i took it opening it. the book contained simple and basic spells and magic

'all you need is the right time, focus, clear mind'

i read the books every page to see that line. i've always wanted to learn new powers. i never tried learning them cause of my curse

"is it okay if i try put spel-"

"what!?"
kai exclaimed before i could finish my sentence

"uhm"
i said quietly not really knowing of what to say

i turned at kai with the book in my hands and kai examined the book slowly while he had that nightmare look in his eyes

"sure but be careful not to burn down things like taehyun"
