"maybe he is one of your childhood friends??"
kai spoke to me while sitting on the ground and im remaining on the edge of the bed sitting down

the boy in the picture that im holding. i just feel like i have seen him somewhere and i have no idea why the picture was with me for so long

i can't remember anything about him. and that doesn't explain the fact that i was near him in the picture at all. i looked like i was around 8-9

i don't remember anything though. that's why i keep the picture with me. and somehow i find comfort from the picture

"maybe it's a school friend? they don't stay for too long ya know"
kai said speaking out a theory. but it doesn't feel right. i just feel like i know the person. and im somehow close to the person

"i don't know kai. my energy keeps losing everytime i try to this of this boy. i can see for only a while through my brain"

i said explaining and basically ranting as i was frustrated as hell

"what do you see in your thoughts??"
kai asked as expected taking the picture from my hands and staring at it

its like a small memory.. its all i see and there comes the white flash

"well. its just a scene. the boy's eyes are blurred for me in it. he was making a flower crown and placing it on my head"

i said all at once staring at the picture that kai was holding while kai just looked at me calmly

"i know what that means!"
kai suddenly stood up with the picture on his hands making me shocked by the sudden movements

(reminding you ppl kai have mind reading ability so soobin don't have to speak everything out)

"wh-what??"
i asked desperately looking right up at kai who was standing infront of me with a serious gaze

"someone or something have corrupted your memories"
kai said seriously placing the picture besides me. now it all made sense. my memories end quickly

"b-but- who could that be!?"
i stood up somehow feeling betrayed by the whole situation thinking of any person to blame

"i don't know that. where did you find it in the first place??"
kai asked me and my brain somehow processed at the very moment and kai could see it from my face too

"mom's basement.."
i said quietly looking down at my feet

"maybe we should-"

"i am asking my mom"
i said straight grabbing the picture cutting off kai's words

"hey! hey! i don't think it's a good-"

"shut up kai! i need to know!"
i said pushing kai's hands away as he was about to stop me from seeing my mom

"hyung wait!"
i heard kai say but i shut my room door at his face. i can't just let him stop me from talking to my mom

"soobin!"
i heard one more yell from kai before i completely got off of the stairs and went straight to the kitchen

i got into the kitchen walking inside furiously to see my mom cooking something

"mom.."
i said trying to control my anger. i didn't know why i was so mad at the first place
and i knew that it was her. it have to be herx

"yes sweetie?"
she turned around with a sweet smile on her face. i sometimes wish that smile was gone

after all the thing's she's been doing. she does nothing but fight with dad infront of yujin and she's just a kid. and my mom expects me to be so calm around her!?
