Attack on Titan: Power of 12 Titans (Darker Version)

Chapter 3

During these years, Eren and his group are training their Titan powers in secret. To make sure that nobody sees them, they usually train outside of Wall Maria. Eren is also trying to use the powers of the Founding Titan, and after several tries, they finally manage to control the pure Titans of his free will.

Katrina's Weather Titan can create different weathers for their advantage, Peter's Ocean Titan is capable of controlling the waters, and Odom, with the Sky Titan, can fly into the sky and attack the enemies. All of them manage to control their Titans on their first try except for Eren, probably because Eren has the two strongest Titans in him.

They not only learn how to train their titans, but they also train their physical abilities. Both Aya and Mikasa are stronger than the four of them when it comes to their physical abilities, except for Eren, the other three are having a hard time catching up to them. Armin has noticed the change in behaviors of the six of them, but he understands that because they lose all of their parents and need to be alone, so all this time he has been staying with his grandfather while the six of them wander around out of Wall Maria.

For the Pure Titans, Eren manages to change some of them back to normal using the Founding Titan's power. After explaining to the Eldians about his own powers, they decide to build a small fortress in the woods and use the Titan Hardening so that they will be safe from the Titans. And since it is really far into the woods, so not even the Survey Corps will be able to find them.

Then they head to the Reiss Farm, and Aya asks, "Why are we here?"

"Our Dad might have killed off the Reiss Children, but there is one left and she's an illegitimate daughter." Eren says. "She will be playing a key role in the future."

"I see." Mikasa says.

Then they knock on the door and the blonde-haired girl opens the door. Eren asks, "Are you Historia Reiss?"

The girl tenses up and she tries to cover it up, "What are you talking about? My name is Christa Lenz."

"Sorry, but you can't fool me, and don't worry, we're not here to harm you." Eren says. "My name is Eren Yeager, and these are my friends."

After the others introduce themselves, Eren decides to say, "You see. My grandfather is the brother of your grandfather, so that means we are distant cousins."

This causes Historia Reiss to gasp in surprise, she wasn't aware that she has a family. Katrina decides to tell her their mother's story while in return, Historia decides to reveal how her mother was killed by her father's men. They pity the girl and they also learned that her father wants her to join the military.

"So are you going to join the Military as well?" Historia asks them.

Aya says, "Well, at first we decide not to join the Military because of how corrupt they are, but after discussing, we also decide to join the Survey Corps."

"Survey Corps? Why the Survey Corps?" Historia asks.

"First, Aya doesn't know who her father is since birth and the only thing we know is that he's in the Survey Corps. The second reason is that our mother used to be the 10th Survey Corps Leader. And finally, we need the Survey Corps' help to overthrow the Government."

This causes Historia to gasp in shock, overthrowing the government is not easy, but Eren also reveals that the Founding Titan might be a key to it and right now they are trying to master their Titan powers. Since that day, Eren and his group might sometimes visit the farm and play with Historia, also telling her stories like her sister used to do with her.

The royal government tries to rectify the food shortage by having refugees cultivate the land, but it is not enough. In the following year 846, they use the refugees to launch a military campaign and retake Wall Maria, but it ends in disaster with about a hundred survivors from a total of 250 thousand soldiers. The food shortage has improved, but Armin's grandfather dies in the conflict.
