Attack on Titan: Power of 12 Titans (Darker Version)

Chapter 15

When Eren and Historia are trying to escape, Rod Reiss turns into a giant Titan and is about to crush the whole chapel. Hange, Mikasa, the Scouts, and the Anti-Personnel Squad notice the quaking and Commander Hange, "What's going on?"

Aya widens her eyes, "Everyone! We have to get out of here! Rod Reiss has turned into a Titan!"

Then she quickly rushes forward and yells, "Dad! We have to go now!"

Levi manages to damage Kenny and he knows that Kenny might not be alive any longer, so they quickly leave the chapel as quickly as possible, they also drag Kenny with them.

Now with Peter and the others, they notice the giant smoke in the air. Peter says, "It has begun..."

Odom bites his hand and transforms into the Sky Titan. "Commander Erwin! Guys! Hop on!"

The Scouts quickly jump onto the back of Odom as they quickly rush to where Eren and the others are. When they arrive, they find that Eren and the others are looking at the Titan that is heading towards Orvud District.

Commander Erwin asks, "So what's the situation?"

"We were engaged in a fight with the Anti-Personnel Squad led by Kenny here." Petra says. "Most of the Hange Squad were killed in the process. But we also defeat some of them. That Titan over there is Rod Reiss himself."

Kenny is breathing heavily and mutters, "Rod Reiss... you bastard..."

Eren says, "Kenny Ackermann." This causes Levi to tense up at the last name. "I know the reason why you served Rod Reiss. However, he's only using you. You want the power of the Founding Titan, but the problem is that you are an Ackermann, a clan of people who won't be able to turn into Titans."

Kenny coughs off blood and grits, "I wanted long for the day 'cuz I knew he wasn't lying about the succession ritual." He takes out a box of Titan serum. "I swiped this little one right out of Rod's bag. Seems if I inject this... I won't turn into a Titan as dumb as that... Everyone I've met... was all the same. Drinking... Women... Worshiping god even... family... the king... dreams... children... power... Everyone had to be drunk on somethin' to keep pushing on... Everyone... was a slave to somethin'... even him... and even you..."

Levi grabs Kenny's shoulder and says, "Kenny. Tell me everything you know! My last name seems to be Ackermann, too. You...What are you to my mother?"

"Heh, you idiot... Just her brother." Kenny says.

"That day, why... why did you leave me?" Levi asks.

"Because... I'm not meant to be...someone's father... however, maybe if I stayed... I might be able to see your wife, who was a Neumann..." Kenny shoves the box with the syringe into Levi, who looks down as he takes it. When he raises his eyes again, Kenny has passed away.

Everyone stares at the dying man, and Erwin says, "We don't have time to grieve. We have to stop that Titan."

Then Eren and the others charge toward the Titans, Eren is trying to make sure that the Titan can't move forward, and the rest of the Titans are using their powers to damage the Titan. Eventually, they create an explosion and the rest of the Scouts destroy the chunks. Historia is the one who kills her father that resides in the nape.

Several days passed, and despite some unrest, the people of the Walls largely accepted the overthrow of the old king, especially after it came to light that the true king had been hiding in the shadows.

Dina Fritz has become the new queen with the Scouts helping her, and their first goal is to reveal the truth of the Titans to the crowd, returning the memories of the past to everyone.
