—First Person POV.—

The days have been lit nicely—leaving room for a gentle breeze to brush through my hair as the sun casted our shadows along the field below.

There's a light sound of grass crunching gently beneath our feet before the blades would bounce back up to leave no trace of us ever even stepping there.

And as for today, no one had really bothered speaking—instead, it seemed that we'd silently agreed to not break the peaceful atmosphere with our words.

I'm walking along Kirishima's left side, his wings folded comfortably to his back as he walked and his tail lightly grazed the valleys lush grass when it swayed alongside his long struts.

Bakugo is trotting on the Dragons right side and you can imagine my surprise when he chose to walk alongside our figures instead of his usual 'leading' form in front.

But I kept my mouth shut, just allowing the man to do as he pleases no matter how odd I found it.

And Kirishima seemed to either have the same idea or just didn't notice the sudden change in the Barbarians actions for the day.

Looking up ahead, there is a structure in ruins coming up on my side—easily casting a dark shadow from the sun and covering the three of us in a temporary dimness as we passed beside it.

It looked like it used to be some kind of house, now that I got a closer look at it but there's a hushed eerie feeling within it—causing my eyes to fixate forward and try my best to ignore it.

But the light call of my name causes me to pause in my steps and look over my shoulder, my brain just now registering that my two companions had come to a stop near the structure.

"You okay?" Kirishima wonders when I retrace my steps to take my place at the duos side once more.

"Yeah, just zoned out for a bit I guess." I answer briefly with a sheepish nod before tilting my attention over to the ash-blondes squinted eyes on the house "Why'd we stop?"

"Do you hear that shit, too?" Bakugo is the next one to speak, causing my brows to furrowing in questioning before I paused to take in my surroundings by sound.

I could pick up on the chirping of birds nearby and the rustling of wind through the grass—but what really caught my attention was the light trickle of water.

Now that I was really paying attention, it stuck out and caused a new wave of confusion to burst through my head as I turned my attention back to the ash blonde.

"You mean the water?" My voice asks, earning a slight nod from Bakugo as he stepped closer to the shadow bathed wood of the house.

"Every time we pass one of these buildings, I hear it." He informs and from the tone of his voice, I'd assume he was irritated with the sound.

"But that's not possible—" Kirishima starts just as I watched the Barbarian pull his sword from its sheathe—and slash an opening into the wooden door, which, crumbled to pieces in front of him.

The sounds of water splashing grew louder after he had done this and I can't help but take a curious step forward to follow the ash blonde as he walked into the house.

"Wait, guys—" Kirishima starts but I had already entered as well, following closely to the Barbarians caped back as we ventured further in.

With an exhausted sigh, I heard the Dragon follow in as well before his hands met my shoulders, his claws grazing my skin to gently hold on.

It takes a moment for me to relax—knowing that he clearly did not want to lose sight of our figures as we trotted a bit and came to a stop again.
