[Kaveh's PoV]

As soon as I entered the office, a blue-haired man with a mask that covers the upper part of his face aside from his mouth welcomed me with an indifferent smile "Im guessing you are the architect that Azar mentioned me about..."

It's the kind of smile that has hidden intentions.

I know it's too early for me to a person I just met but with one look from him, I can tell that he is not just an ordinary doctor and I meant it not in a good way

"You got it right" I paused and change my tone a little like his and gave him a small smile "I presume you are The Doctor that everyone has been talking about..."

"Everyone? Haha..." he seems to be amused at what I've said. Well, I am not sure if everyone knows him, I just exaggerated so it would appear that I heard about him although it's my first time meeting him "That's too much. I'm merely just a traveling doctor"

"Traveling?" I pointed out

Based on what my colleague said, he rarely visits here in person. I just thought he was just living far away from Sumeru City but now that I have seen him in person, It seems like he came from a different country

That kind of clothing is from- "Snezhnaya" I gasped when I heard his voice amidst my thoughts, it seems like he just read my mind just now

I composed myself. "You mean... you are from Snezhnaya?"

"Yes-"

"Don't be silly, Dottore..." the Grand Sage butt in the conversation and looked at me. He's sitting on the chair in front of his desk while The Doctor is sitting on a chair next to him "He's a former resident in Sumeru and a scholar here in Akademiya"

"Former? So that means, he isn't living here anymore?" I asked out of curiosity

"Like I said, Im merely just a traveling doctor... Now, enough questions..." he stood up and walked towards me. I'm getting nervous with every step he takes closer to me "Dottore... You can call me by that name since you'll be on our side from now on..." he extended his right hand, wearing black gloves

Dottore... That name sounds familiar. I think I heard Alhaitham talk about a person named Dottore before. I just can't remember what's that about

I grab his hand and shake it a little "Kaveh..." I immediately withdrew my hand after that

"I'm looking forward to working with you-"

"Excuse me but I am not yet well informed about the purpose of this meeting. Can you please explain it to me in detail?" I cut him off

I don't even know what project they've been discussing about. Then out of the blue, they just made a decision to involve me without even asking my permission. And now, he's looking forward to working with me when I didn't even know what kind of work I'll be doing for them

Ah, This is driving me insane

The moment I'll know that this is anything bad, I'm getting myself out. There's no way I would let myself get involved with the likes of them

"Sure, sit down" he walked back to where he seated before and gestured me to sit down on the vacant seat in front of them

It's been 5 days since I went to meet him along with the Grand Sage. When I asked him what the project is all about, they discussed about creating a new god that will rule Sumeru by their orders — A Sumeru Archon or the King Deshret is no longer needed
