Chapter 6 | Sunshine

What happened yesterday was undescribable it was nice but I was scared what if I actually start to like him  what happens next,
I promised myself noy to fall in love because the world has proven to me that it takes every kind of happiness and I don't want it to take him, for once in a long time I actually felt safe I felt like I was actually happy, and something about his eyes and how he looks at me, something about his touch and how he carefully hugs me it shows that he's confused too maybe it's best to postpone whatever happened yesterday because I don't think it's the right thing to do because of everything that's happening and everything that had happened in the past with me or with him, we both have our problems and we both are dealing with them but I just can't stop thinking about him, I can't stop thinking about his eyes, I can't stop thinking about his hair, I can't stop thinking about his actions nor his words everything about him just makes me feel different I'm just scared that this kind of different will hurt me in the end.

When I woke up I couldn't stop thinking of what happened and Coraline sensed something was wrong so she asked me
"Ophelia what's up with you last night you dissappeared after Grayson left and now your seem like your in another world"
"Me??"I asked with surprising hoping she'll drop it because I know Coraline and I know she'd want to talk about Grayson
"Now I know why you're different you're thinking about Grayson aren't you?"
"Nooooo he's a colleague and he just happened to pass by because I was sick and he wanted to work on the case that was it"
"I highly doubt that but he is really cute and he seems nice and he seems to actually care for you so please don't break him, dudeeee he is even more Sunshine than me imagine more Sunshine than me I feel offendeddd"
I laugh because it was true Grayson is a ray of sunshine, Coraline is too
they seem like they're going to get along I chuckled to myself
"Fine I've been thinking about him but I don't like him he just got me by surprise that's it, I don't want you to make a big deal out of it because it's complicated and I don't even know if I actually like and I'm sure it's nothing he's just nice really really nice"
"Okay fine I believe you but I will watch you two" she laughed and came to hug me then she whispered in my ear
"But you cant disagree that he's not cute"
"You know he's not my type"I laughed and hugged her back
I'm really grateful for Coraline, she found me when I was still trying to get over my parents death and she helped me through it all and then after Blair left I asked her to move in with me because she was looking for a place to stay, I don't imagine my life without her bubbly and wierd personality,
Shes my kind of wierd.

I decided to call Grayson and act like nothing happened in case he doesn't want to make it a big deal out of such a simple encounter,
"Yooo Shaky hands what's up"
"Look who finally decided to call I thought you'd never hit me up"
"Well lucky for me I'm not here for you,I want us to work on the case and I don't want to work alone"
"Aren't a 'lone dog', a wolf with no pack?"
he laughed I'm sure he did it on purpose because he knows how annoying I find that but nonetheless I laughed,
"Yeah well I still am, I'm just bored and Coraline is on a date so send your address I'm on my way"
"They say girls who make the first move are always better but I honestly disagree" he sighed, I rolled my eye waiting for him to finish
"You done? because I just got out of the house and I don't like waiting so are you going to send it or will I just go find someone more interesting to spend my time with" I smirked I know he felt that I did even if we were on a call not in real life
"Yeah no I'll send you the address and you don't need to look because you won't find someone more interesting because there is no such thing as a more interesting person then the Grayson Weber"
"Keep believing those lies you say" I laughed but this time it felt real, realer then any laugh ever
"I don't need to I know I'm the best, I sent you the location I'm waiting for you scary lady "
"See you in 10 then Shaky hands"
I closed the phone with a huge grin on my face with a red pigment on my cheeks
I'm starting to like him but I'm starting to feel okay about it because it feels right, I feel like this is where I'm supposed to be.
