Murtasim got ready wearing a peach colored 3-piece suit and went to the ground to avoid any conversation with Meerab. He sat in one corner for a while but loneliness made him feel uncomfortable at his own house. He felt like he was not someone to be loved and believed. When he looked at the stage he remembered his marriage with Meerab. He was not ready for that marriage and was not interested in Meerab but he now realizes that marriage really has the power to connect hearts. He never believed this fact but he does now as he has fallen in love with his wife but now the same marriage is on the verge of breaking down

His sister is going to marry a stranger and here his marriage is going to break. He loves his sister and his concern was real when he said no to love marriage but Meerab broke his trust. He doesn't care if the guy was Zubair or not, the fact that Meerab made Mariyam run away broke him. He has no opinion other than marrying his sister off because in this house he knows Haya will keep taunting her and Ma Begum will not treat Mariyam right.

"Murtasim", Haya called his name and he looked up to see Haya standing in front of him.

"What?", Murtasim asked not looking at her as he was not interested in talking with Haya. Haya means nothing to him and now he will stay away from girls because he feels girls are not trustworthy. Maybe he is wrong to think like that but he thought this because of his experience. His wife, sister, Haya, and mother all broke his trust in one or another way.

"Ma begum is calling you", Haya said and opened her mouth to talk further but Murtasim ignored her and left. He walked near the stage and asked his mother what was the matter.

"Go and come with your wife. Don't know where she is. And ask her to come with Mariyam", Ma Begum

"They will come. They are not children", Murtasim said

"Go and do what I said. At least ask Mariyam to come and let your wife get ready but please come with her and act like you guys didn't fight", Ma Begum ordered and walked towards guests to greet them. Anwar was also busy greeting guests, he wondered why Ma Begum didn't ask Haya to call Mariyam and Meerab.

Taking a long breath he walked towards the house to search for Meerab and Mariyam in the house. He walked towards Mariyam's room and knocked on the door before entering. The sight he saw was amazing as his sister was dressed as a bride and she looked breathtakingly beautiful. On noticing him Mariyam got up and hugged him tightly as she couldn't get time to thank him and ask forgiveness for falling in love with Zubair and breaking his trust

"I'm sorry Bhai. I should have believed you and shouldn't have taken that step. I'm sorry for falling in love with your enemy and just because of me, you lost your property. Sorry", Mariyam apologized and sobbed in his arms. She knew she made a mistake but couldn't accept it at first because was traumatized because of Zubair and then couldn't because she felt very low in front of Murtasim. She found herself a criminal for breaking his brother's married life. How could she? She blamed herself but she was helpless as her mother treated her like trash and a useless person in the house

"Shh, it's ok Mariyam. Don't cry otherwise you will ruin your make-up. My sister looks so beautiful in a bridal dress. You grew too fast. I will miss you and Mariyam falling in love is not a mistake but you should know who the guy is. And I'm not your enemy who wanted to hurt you. Mariyam I love you and I want the best for you. Give a chance to Naurez and change your environment. You will get freedom there ", Murtasim said and kissed Mariyam's forehead. He then scanned the room to see if there was any trace of Meerab but found themselves alone

"Bhabhi went to her room as she got hurt in her foot as she wore heals", Mariyam told him which made him panic as she got hurt and he was not even aware. Yes, he was hurt and angry but that can never make him forget his concern for her
