Just before we start the chapter, this is a rough design of what 23's hero costume looks like! I used a dress up website bc I cannot draw for shit guys. It's not completely accurate, I just went with the base model for simplicity, but I think it's enough to get the idea across until something new comes along. I wanted to give you guys something to envision! See you after the chapter!

When they finally arrived in Hosu and left the train station, Y/n saw that there was a sleek black car waiting for her and Todoroki. There was also a man standing outside the vehicle, his body covered in bandages, holding a sign that said "Shoto Todoroki and Y/n Howlett" on it– so that also helped narrow it down.
As they approached, the bandaged man nodded towards them. "Hello, it's very good to see you again, Shoto." The dual colored boy nodded and ducked into the vehicle, "And you must be Howlett? My name is Kido, I'm one of Endeavor's sidekicks and I will be taking you both to his agency."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kido." She gave him a smile and followed Todoroki into the car. It was spacious, comfortable enough for both of the students to sit without being cramped together. Kido climbed into the driver's seat and pulled away from the train station, Y/n couldn't help but stare out the window.
The three of them sat in a comfortable silence and the girl was entranced by the scenery that Hosu provided. It's so pretty here. I have to stop forgetting how big of a place the world is... I'm not trapped in an underground lab anymore. There are hundreds of places I can see now that I'm out. I wonder... I wonder if I'll be able to see them all before I die. I want too.
Every turn provided a new sight to behold. Flowers growing from window boxes, ivy growing up telephone poles, parents holding their young children, school kids running around– it all made her heart clench. Sixteen years. I missed sixteen years of this, of the beautifully mundane things the world can provide. All because of a sick and twisted man's delusions– that alone is unforgivable.
When they approached Endeavor's agency and got out of the car, the building was so tall that Y/n had to fully crane her head back to take it in. "Woah..." Was all the girl could muster as she quickly caught up with Todoroki and Kido. The height of the building made an uneasy feeling spring alive in her stomach.
"Alright you two, Endeavor wanted to speak with both of you in his office first thing. Shoto, you know the way there– I'd accompany you guys but Burnin needs help with an intel report." The bandaged man said, letting out an annoyed sigh as he handed them each a keycard for their rooms.
"I assume we'll be seeing you sometime later today or tomorrow when we come down to train?" The older man nodded at Todoroki's question, "Okay. Thank you for driving us here, Kido. Come on, Howlett, the elevator is this way." The dual toned boy stalked off and Y/n followed him while giving Kido a small wave goodbye.
The lobby of the agency was oozing with the term 'rich'. Marble flooring, dark wood paneling mixed with wide windows, one of the walls even had a waterfall pouring into a little pool with lily pads and some kind of multi-colored fish. The girl couldn't help but feel extremely out of place, like she was mucking up the expensive air by simply existing as a lab rat degenerate.
Even the elevator was lush and opulent. Shiny black marble flooring and expensive black walls that were so clean Y/n could almost see her reflection in them, when they started moving the girl noticed the entire left side was a window. Todoroki pressed the button for the highest floor and leaned against the back wall.
"Howlett... you don't have to stand like you're going to break something." The girl hadn't even noticed the way she tensed up in the center of the elevator, clutching her suitcase handle so hard her knuckles were turning white.
