"You alright, Y/n? You aren't usually so tired." Kirishima laughed as the clawed girl leaned against him, her eyes closed.

The entirety of class 1-A and 1-B was standing outside of the school, bags littered around them, as they waited for the buses that would take them to their training camp. The air had a certain heaviness to it this early in the morning, condensation and moisture still prevalent in the immediate atmosphere.

Y/n sighed and wrapped Aizawa's stolen jacket tighter around her body, the dark fabric oversized and comforting, the smell enveloping her and helping to calm her nerves. She did the same with the light purple hat she stole from Hitoshi, tugging it more securely over her twin braided hair that Mic had done up during breakfast.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just went to bed late last night." She groaned, rubbing her eyes and standing up straight, the camping bag on her shoulder adding unwanted weight, "I'll try to rest on the bus."

She shifted her bag again as Mina spoke up, "I don't know how you can be so sleepy, I'm practically bursting with excitement!" The pink girl was jittering where she stood between Kaminari and Sero, her own pink duffle bag bouncing against her knees as she moved.

Y/n just shrugged and shifted her bag again, fiddling with her jacket sleeves as she assessed the situation again in her head whilst her friends chattered on about the impending trip.

There would be two separate buses, split between 1-A and 1-B. 1-A's bus would have twenty-three people on it, including Aizawa and the driver. The bus has three emergency exits and one regular: the door they'd board through, the emergency door at the back, the emergency window, and a hatch in the ceiling. Logically, she should try to sit in the back of the bus near the emergency door so that she could pry it open and help people out if need be. If Aizawa was at the front then both major exits would be covered—

"I could hear you thinking about all of this too hard from all the way down the damn street, calm down." A gruff voice interrupted her thoughts as it pulled the bag from her shoulder.

Y/n, of course, knew it was Bakugou by his scent alone, but still found herself looking at him to confirm. "You're late." Was all she said, letting him shift her bag away from her body.

The ash blonde rolled his eyes, "The hag insisted on driving me here, then she also fucking insisted on picking up fucking Deku." He casually slung her bag over his shoulder, his own bag gripped in a fist at his side.

"That sounds like your mother." Y/n said, looking towards her own parent who was currently conversing with the 1-B teacher, Vlad King. "Still, we were supposed to be here by eight."

"Y/n, it's fucking eight o'three." Bakugou said, shoving his phone in her face. The girl rolled her eyes and pushed his arm away.

"I'm aware of the time, blasty." Hazel eyes swept over the crowd of students, anticipation heavy in the morning air, "I'm just pointing out that, for someone who has a strict bedtime, you don't seem too bothered by being late."

Bakugou let out a dismissive "tch" and rolled his eyes while grabbing some sort of wireless earbuds from his pocket, "Trust me, I was plenty angry about the damn situation in the car... you just seem on edge, I don't think getting annoyed will help your dumbass or whatever."

Y/n's eyes shot to the boy only to find that he seemed to be trying not to make eye contact with her. Instead, he just turned the ear buds on and shoved one of them in his ear before offering the other one to her.

Carefully, the girl took the earbud and inspected it before gently placing it in her left ear. Bakugou shoved the case back in his pocket and pulled out his phone once more, scrolling through something until he decided on whatever music he thought the girl would appreciate.
