Greetings from a foreign land
Completely unbeknownst to me
Slowly beckoning to me
Sand whiter than snow
Evergreen trees far and wideMy sail pointing to shore
Blue butterflies fluttering in the wind
I stood there, peeking ahead
Golden light was shining down
It pulled me closerCrystals trickled down my hands
Glittering like snow
So pure, so delicate, so smooth
Laying down, sinking into the ground
There was a connection of comfortWhen the moon shined down
Day after day, night after night
Shades of grey crept into the vastness
Conquering the floating platform
Putting a crown on its headThe bed of light turned dark
Lost it's stunning glow
Oh, how the months flowed
Clock is ticking, surpasses twelve
Time for my long awaited odysseyPlacing a map on the map
Trace a finger on the pathway
Presenting myself with fait accompli
Far into the horizon
Still following me behindCreeping, crawling, gripping me
With all your might
An invisible hand
With a thread, thinly sewn
Sewing my skin, damage to the coreScissors of courage
Save me from this misery
The strand is yet to be gone
You still left your mark
I'm weaving it into something newThe wave of the sea
A cure of a hand
Wow, no, not really
Now what I see
Was nothing more than foreign land
