As I arrived in Korea with Kang Won Seok, I couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of unease. The presence of the bodyguard, always close by, made me uncomfortable. I understood the need for security, given the delicate nature of my father's affairs, but it made me feel like a stranger in my own skin.

As we made our way through the airport, the bodyguard's watchful eyes seemed to follow my every move. It felt as if I was constantly being scrutinized, which added to the tension I was already experiencing. The bustling airport, with its foreign sights and sounds, only added to my feeling of being out of place.

Once outside, we were quickly ushered towards a waiting car. The urgency with which they pushed me inside made me wonder if there was something more to the situation than I knew. The awkwardness inside the car was palpable, and neither Kang Won Seok nor I knew quite what to say. The lawyer seemed preoccupied with his own thoughts, while the bodyguard remained stoically focused on his surroundings.

I tried to start a conversation to ease the tension, "So, Mr. Kang, do you have any updates on my father's affairs? Anything I should know before we proceed?"

Kang Won Seok looked at me, his expression serious yet comforting, "Yes, [name], there are some important matters we need to discuss. We'll have a meeting later today to go over everything in detail. For now, let's focus on getting you settled."

The car sped through the city, and I couldn't help but notice the differences between Korea and my home country. The vibrant cityscape, the unfamiliar language on billboards and signs, and the rush of life going on around me-all of it was a stark contrast to my usual surroundings.

As we continued our journey through the city, the driver suddenly turned to me and asked my age. I hesitated for a moment, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the question, and chose to remain silent. The driver's impatience grew, and he spoke to me rudely, assuming I could understand Korean.

"I know you can speak Korean," he said, his tone terse and demanding. Feeling a bit taken aback, I decided to respond in English, "25," I said.

The driver glared at me in frustration, not pleased with my response. Kang Won Seok noticed the tension and decided to intervene. He addressed the driver in Korean, "She's 25."

Kang Won Seok glared at the driver, his frustration evident in his voice. "Cut the bullshit and focus on your driving!" he barked, annoyed at the driver's unprofessional behavior. The driver immediately snapped back to attention, realizing the seriousness of the situation.

As I peered out of the car's window, my heart skipped a beat when I noticed a black Benz following us, rapidly gaining speed as if it intended to overtake us. The Benz drew level with our car, causing the driver to curse under his breath.

To my shock, the familiar man I had met on the plane was seated in the Benz, and he wore an eerie smile as he gazed at us. Sensing danger, I felt a chill run down my spine, and my instincts kicked in. I saw the man mouth something urgently, "Get down."
