"You can't hide behind his invulnerability forever!" Princess Fragrance claims while she fought Minotaurox. Suddenly all three of them were de-akumatized and reverted back to normal, Minotaurox, LB, and I made sure they were all okay. Ladybug turns her attention to the akuma flying away and quickly captures it, saying goodbye to the now-purified butterfly.

The girls hug while Ladybug and I watch them sadly knowing we couldn't enjoy being good friends to them. We pound it and get the miraculous back from Minotaurox and Rena Rouge where we tell them we were lucky to have each other as friends.

After Marinette and I got back home we contacted the girls to come over so we could apologize and explain. "It's true, breaking up with Luka broke my heart. I was nothing but a bad girlfriend to him which resulted in him getting akumatized twice and I love him too much to keep hurting him like that. Right now love is too difficult...I'm gonna stick with friendship, it's all I can handle at the moment," I tell them while Marinette tells them she was upset because she realized how toxic she was over Adrien and was worried about regressing back to being that toxic over the next guy she fell for.

"Take your time." "It'll all work out." "Blame Shadowmoth for that." "We'll help keep you in line," They reassured us before pulling us into a group hug stating that they'd always be there for us. They started to head out when Alya suddenly told the others she'd catch up later. Once alone we're given an understanding smile. 

"You didn't tell us everything did you? A journalist and a BFF can tell these things," I look to Marinette who shakes her head as we sit down. "I won't try to force it out of you. I just wish I could help with whatever's wrong because it kills me to see you both feeling so alone." "Will we still be friends?" Mari asks and she's given another reassuring smile. "Of course, you two are my best friends and nothing will change that."

"You're right. We are alone more than ever before and while we have each other we're stuck in the same boat, dealing with the same problems with no clue how to deal with them. It's so overbearing we can hardly take it," I start to tell her, but it soon turns into a rant. "You wanna know why I keep hurting Luka? Because there's something I can't tell him or anyone else, same goes for Marinette. We lie, we keep secrets all the time to everyone and there's no other way!"

"(y/n) you're telling too much," Marinette intervenes before Alya speaks up. "There's always another way." "No there isn't we have no choice, all of it is bigger than us Alya, way too big," Marinette says and Alya continues. "If it's too big for just the two of you, maybe the three of us can take it on." "But if we tell you the truth things will never be the same again, it'll mess up everything, possibly destroy it!" "Marinette. (y/n). I'm your very best friend and I'll stick with you through it all."

Marinette looks away, still refusing to tell the truth when I grab her shoulders and make her look me in the eyes as I tell her. "Marinette, we can't keep going on like this if we do we'll snap like a twig and that won't help anyone. I'm asking you to please put our mental health first, it's all too much to rely on each other anymore," She looks between me and Alya before sighing. "And we're...Ladybug and (s/n)," Alya's eyes widen in pure utter shock before pulling us both in for a hug without a word.
