"So that's what I was missing. To stop Qilin we also have to stop the attacks from the police. Here's the plan," LB exclaims, soon whispering to me and Chat.

She grabs one of the discarded police shields and places it over a sewage drain cover. We hold it down for her to cut through with her laser. Removing the cover Chat gets on the ladder and we put the cut shield over him. From there Ladybug and I pull the brigade of officers to the spot and use my ice storm on the ground to lift the police officers away from Roger while Chat stole the key.

"Here's the key to our problem," Chat jokes as he heads up with us, spinning the key.

Ladybug gratefully takes the key and carefully approaches Qilin. "Qilin! Here are the keys, I will let you go in exchange for you giving up your akuma."

Qilin raises her hands to attack because Shadowmoth tries to intervene, but Ladybug keeps her cool by offering the keys.

"I agree to your terms," She rejects the akuma and is de-evilized, Ladybug undoing the handcuffs before breaking them to deal with the akuma.

"Here is a magical charm, always keep it with you. It'll protect you from Shadowmoth," Ladybug says, handing Sabine a turquoise and gold magical charm before we pound it.

"Alright to the station now," Roger orders as he and that annoying ticket inspector walk up.

"No way. I know Mrs. Dupain-Cheng and I know you do to Officer Roger. There's no one else in the world who is as upright and honest as her."

"Officer Roger while we won't stop you from doing your job but there is no need for those handcuffs and instead of jumping the gun see if her story checks out."

"Yes the law is the law but if you aren't willing to show some humanity you're going to punish someone unfairly especially when you let racial biases get in the way," Chat Noir, Ladybug, and I say, crossing our arms and giving the two a stern look.

"Ok. I won't use the handcuffs."

"But Roger-"

"No. She's right."

With that, we take off and Mari and I quickly de-transform and rush to the police department.

"Mom! Thank goodness you're ok! We were so worried!" Mari calls out as we run up to them. "I know it's late but happy Mother's Day."

The two hug before Marinette hands over the tickets and surprise, surprise the ticket man clears them.

"They're valid. Mrs. Dupain-Cheng wasn't lying."

"Does that mean we can cancel the fine and the ID check?"

"While that doesn't change the fact this lady was on the bus without a ticket or ID, the situation doesn't leave her at fault it'll be reasonable to cancel it all. I'm...Sorry," The ticket man apologizes and we go about the rest of our day.
