We were running out of food at home so sanzu said he had to go grocery shopping today. "can I come?" I asked, sitting on the couch watching tv while he was sitting at his desk doing something "you have to walk around the grocery store for like 45 minutes straight and I can't carry you and a shopping cart" he said not looking up from his screen. "Well then it can be practice for walking steady, pleaaaaaase" I begged, "well I can't leave you home alone either so sure" he accepted "yippe" I said.

I watched tv for a few more minutes before he said "if your gonna go change or something to go to the grocery store now is the time" he called out. "Ok" I said back, I walked back to my bedroom. I walked into the closet and chose some sweatpants and a hoodie, I didn't need people assuming things about my bruises.

I went to the bathroom and took some concealer to put on the bruises on my face, I brought the handle up to my cheek and hissed at the pain of it touching. It hurt like hell and I still had to blend it, I tried once again and just spread it across the bruise as fast as I could which didn't really hurt less but at least I did it. I took out the blending sponge and started to slowly blend in when sanzu walked in "y/n whats taking so lon-" he started saying before he saw me.

"What are you doing?" He asked "nothing just covering these little shits" I said pointing at the injuries on my face. "Why?" He said "I don't want people to stare" I mumbled, "why do you care if they stare?" He asked "cause I don't want them to" I said. "Fine they they'll have 2 seconds maximum before I beat the shit out of them" he said casually. "Don't beat up someone in the middle of the grocery store it's fine" I grumbled. "If I must I will and what are you wearing it's hotter than hell outside?" He questioned.

"I'm just cold" I lied, that was a lie and he knew it but he wasn't going to comment about it.
"lets go then" he said trying not to force me to take off the makeup or be intimidating. "Ok just gimme a minute" I said walking back to the bathroom, he walked with me and watched as I slowly wiped the makeup that I had started off into a cotton pad. "Great choice" he smiled, I slowly walked through the doorway with him behind me, I looked back and realized I was pretty slow so I tried to speed up. He put his hand on my shoulder "we're not in a rush take your time" he stated.

I still tried to walk as fast as I could and I could tell there was a bit of improvement from yesterday. I looked like I was kind of waddling but not too much, yesterday It looked way more obvious. We finally got out the door and into the car, I sat in shotgun and buckled up my seatbelt and so did sanzu. "Good to go?" He asked "mhm" I hummed, he put his hands on the steering wheel started the engine and started driving. "If we get there and people are staring and you don't like it tell me and we can leave ok?" He said softly. "Thanks sanzu you've been really nice since what happened" I said, "but you don't have to baby me, if I'm making you mad you can get mad at me you don't always have to be nice" I explained. "I know that it's just hard to get mad when I should be happy that your here right now and not still tied up in a room" he explained.

He took one hand from the steering wheel and squeezed mine before letting it go and putting it back on the steering wheel. I looked at him and got caught in those beautiful eyes again, he noticed this and said "are my eyes that nice?" "Yeah they're so blue and pretty" I said. "I think your (eye color) eyes are prettier" he said smiling. A few minutes passed and he pulled into the grocery store parking lot and easily found a parking spot, he got out of the car 'huh is he leaving me here' I thought opening my door.

He showed up on the other side and reached out his hand for me to get down, I held on to his soft hand and got down from the car slowly. It hurt to walk normally but I didn't want any more stares so I beared through the pain and walked as normal and fast as I could. "Don't force yourself" he reminded me, "I know" I said still trying to keep up with him. Suddenly he started walking like a turtle "oops guess your going to have to wait and walk like me" he said smirking knowing I wouldn't leave him behind.

He walked as slow as he could and I did too beside him, "I can walk a bit faster you know" I said and he sped up a bit. I continued to bicker until we reached a normal walking speed not too fast not too slow. We walked in and I could feel a few eyes looking at me but I ignored it, we only had like 8 things we needed and so far we already had 5. We got to the cereal isle because we were in desperate need of some cereal and I saw a bunch of teenage boys roughly the same age as us. 'Oh shit' I thought hoping they wouldn't notice my face, "which cereal do you want?" sanzu asked with a low voice.

 
"I dunno let me check" I said studying the cereals, I stood there and he put his arms around me from behind making me lean back and relax a bit. This caught the attention of the teenage rodents and they walked over to the beginning of the aisle staring at me and snickering. I really wanted to put my hood up but that would let them know I'm letting it get to me. Sanzu noticed this and tried his best to ignore it, he was about a head taller than me maybe a but less so he could see easily over my head at the cereals.

It was going fine until one of the teenagers yelled not too loud "what does your boyfriend beat you or something?" And they all started snickering. When they noticed we ignored them they got a bit closer and they started to mimic us hugging each other staring at the cereals. "Shut the fuck up before I give you a matching scar on your little dick"  I spat, they did not look happy with that. "What did you say bitch?" One of them commented, "what did you call her?" Sanzu said now turning his head to face them. "Bitch" another one repeated "I'll give you 10 seconds to leave this aisle" sanzu stated pushing back his hair revealing the bonten tattoo. "Bonten?" One of them asked terrified, "10" he began counting and they scurried away, "pussys" I commented.
