Godzilla is the King of the Monsters. Born from American Atomic tests conducted in the South Pacific at end of World War II, Godzilla is quite literally the Wrath of Nature Incarnate. In 1954 the atomic saurian raided and destroyed Tokyo. The creature was later killed in Tokyo Bay by Doctor Serizawa's Oxygen Destroyer, along with the good doctor himself. Or so everyone thought. In 1984, Godzilla returned during the heightened tensions of the Cold War between the Americans and the Soviets. The kaiju king soon returned to his old stomping ground of Tokyo and destroyed a good portion of the city before ultimately being led to Mt. Mihara at Oshima Island. Godzilla was soon dropped into the volcano by a forced, controlled eruption and sealed inside. The great monster has remained inside the volcano ever since his return in '84. But now with a shard from a mysterious meteor crashing into Mt. Mihara, Godzilla is awake and ready to be set loose upon the world again. Cutie Honey is going to have her hands full with the King of the Monsters.
