"do you know how many bullets can kill a small child?"
"Im assuming that question is rhetorical, because you're going to use all three bullets" I reply. "And I would prefer to keep my quirk for now"
I can hear a knock on the door from downstairs.
"ARIAAAAAA GO ANSWER THAT!" Cayden calls from downstairs.
"RAHHHHHHH I'M COMING!"
I completely ditch me and Shigaraki's conversation, rushing as fast as I can without crying because of the pain.
I reach the front door, I think back to when I first saw Cayden here.
"Who is it?" I call out.
"Uh- my name is Maya and I'm sorry for bothering you, but can you tell me where I am?" The person answers.
I decifer the voice in my head, thinking back to everyone in our friend group.
Maya p.
"MAYA!"
"Umm yeah can I come in"
I unlock the door, she opens it.
"OH MY GOD, ARIA WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO YOU"
"Long story short, you're in the wonderful shitty world of my hero academia"
"WHAT?!"
"Please stop screaming, you're hurting my ears"
"YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR EARS, YOU HAVE BLOOD ALL OVER YOU!"
"huh?"
"Did you get stabbed?"
"No, I- what?"
"Look at your shirt!"
I look at my shirt and see the light green color had been replaced with a deep dark red color.
"It's fine"
"It is not fine!"
"It is!"
"Where are we?"
"The league of villains hideout"
"You look like shit"
"I know, I'm- I'm sick"
"Oh really? I couldn't tell"
"Yeah yeah, I get that you're worried and all, but what I'm more worried about is that massive gash on your shoulder, if you haven't noticed it yourself"
"Maya" Cayden says from behind me.
"Cayden, what are you doing here?" Maya asks.
"Finishing unfinished business"
"What's that-"
Before we knew it, the gun Shigaraki had previously had was pointed at Maya.
"Cayden, put the fucking gun down"
"What is happening?!''
"Aria, go back upstairs with Shigaraki"
"No no no no no, Aria, don't fucking leave me here!"
"I'm sorry! I promise I'll be back!"
"Promise!?"
"Promise!"
I limp to the stairs, not going fully up them so I could hear as see everything.
"That better be a fake fucking gun"
"It's real" Cayden says. "Wanna see?"
"No, this is stupid as hell"
"Aria, you didn't listen to me, I told you to go upstairs with Shigaraki so you could work out the negotiations! Fuck. Come here"
How did he know?! I didn't breathe the entire time I was up there!
"Aria" Cayden says  "Either go upstairs or come here"
"You can't be doing this!" Maya shouts.
"It's just the harsh reality you're- no, we're in"
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"Oh, nothing's wrong with me, it's all you"
I can't watch this anymore, the suspense is literally killing me. Like, I'm actively bleeding out.
"Aria, I'm gonna count to three"
I stand up, going down the stairs.
"Well you're back" Maya says.
"Yep"
"Stop talking" Cayden says. "Stand right there" he points to the floor in the middle to the left of him and Maya.
I walk there, careful not to slip on the blood.
"Great"
He hands me the gun.
"What?"
"Shoot either yourself, me, or Maya"
"No, but thank you?"
"Come on! Live a little!"
"Aria, don't shoot anyone"
"Quiet, let her concentrate"
I look at the gun, I see my hands shaking.
"How about we play Russian roulette?"
I shake my head.
"I don't think I can shoot it"
"Try, maybe I'll spare Maya if you do"
I nod.
"Alright. But you have to let her go"
"Deal"
"What do I shoot?"
"Yourself. You'll be fine anyways. You'll come back"
"Uh-  what?"
"I said to be quiet"
"I- i can't"
"Fine then. I'll do it"
"WHAT?!"
"Maya, it's fine. I'll help you after this is done. Go upstairs and knock on the second door on the right. You'll see Dabi. Tell him that I told you to go there"
"Okay, please be careful"
"I won't, but alright"
She goes up the stairs, I hear a series of knocks, then a door open, inaudible talking, then a door closing.
"Let's get this over with. Back up until you hit the wall"
I do as he says, walking backwards until I hit the brick wall.
"You take the safety off, then aim and shoot"
I wait until I hear the earsplitting sound of a gunshot.
He puts the gun down, then picks it back up.
"You're a monster"
"What did you say?"
"You're. A. Monster"
"Cool, I really don't care"
"It's like you don't have a heart anymore"
"It's hard to have a heart when you've stopped so many hearts"
"You're disgusting"
"And you're gay"
"Awwww thanks for the compliment"

I laugh.
"How are you laughing?"
"Because it's funny how we used to be friends. Now that you're a villain called Little Death, and I'm a hero without a name"

"Right, everyone calls me something different. Well, almost everyone"
"I still call you Aria, you still call me Cayden"
"And bakubitch calls me Freak, Mina calls me Aria-san, That one kid that disappears for a few weeks then comes back for a month, that little american girl, asthmatic, pixie stix, twig, villain"
"Villain?"
"They obviously didn't do their research well enough, they think I have Cushing's syndrome"
"What's that"
"It's a disease that- that- I- I forgot"
"You forgot?"
"Yeah, I forgot. What's the big deal?"

"Why are you asking me these questions? His name is- shit"

"Go upstairs, we need to talk"
"I think Shigaraki is still in there"

My stomach starts to hurt more than it did before, a burning sensation. I ignore it, thinking it's normal. We start walking towards the stairs, I feel dizzy. I pause to look at my chest, it's hard to breathe.
"Cayden" I whisper, My voice trembling. He doesn't hear me, he's already on the stairs. I watch blood drip to the floor from my stomach as I'm holding onto the wall for support. "Cayden please help"
"Aria, what's taking you so long, I know your leg is fucked up, but-"
I look up at him.
"What happened?" He asks.
"Please" I whispered again. "help"
He rushes down the stairs, almost tripping.
"DABI GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!"
