Nova is Maverick's daughter, and much to her disagreement, she is just like him. She's met Bradley Bradshaw a few times when they were children but hasn't seen his face enough to recognize him. She never expected to work with him on a mission, and she especially did not expect her father to show up at Top Gun ever again. Somebody has got to cut the tension between Maverick and Rooster, and Nova will do just that! This is an intense mission, and these pilots could use some comedic relief.
