"Well maybe I can walk you to class?" The brown haired boy said, earning an eye roll from Charlotte. "I mean there will be quite a talk when people see me and you walking around. Especially since I'm one of the most handsome blokes here."
She tried to hold in her laugh as the boy named Cedric tried to flirt with her, her just shaking her head and continuing her walk to class. She knew that boy was trying to flirt with her the first day when he helped her around the castle, but she didn't think he would be this self centered about himself too.
"Yea no I'm good." He hummed, continuing to walk next to her. No one was with her in that moment because she had defense against the dark arts and Enzo already got in trouble for being late multiple times because even though his class was the closest to hers, he would get a bit chatty.
So now she had to deal with Cedric who clearly couldn't get the hint that she wasn't interested. He took her to class either way, running a hand through his hair as they reached the door. She could see students already in there, including Draco. She hasn't talked to Draco since the whole her following him incident. And she silently thanked him for not telling Adrian.
Lust was seen on Cedric's face, looking her up and down as she looked at him like she was going to throw up.
"I'll see you after class then?" Before she could say anything, the door was shut with some sort of forced wind, her getting startled. The class went quiet at the loud sound, Snape scowling at her.
"How about instead of startling my students you sit down, miss Pucey." She had to hold back an eye roll, knowing profesor Slughorn was usually a sweetheart.
There were no seats available, her not seeing any that wasn't occupied by a student. "Is it that difficult finding a seat", he questioned, her about to answer before he cut her off, "there's one next to Malfoy."
She just walked to the desk without another word, putting her bag down and resting her head on the desk. She didn't even bother to look at Draco, knowing he was probably doing some stupid shit like always.
"What a lovely scene, you and Cormac, hm?" She lifted her head up, looking to him to already see his eyes trained on her as he played around with his quill. "That's really none of your business." The thought of taking a nap left her mind as she pulled out her book and her quill.
"It is when you looked like you were going to puke all over the floor." She really hoped no one else had seen her face if that's what they would've seen.
"Looked like I was going to throw up?" She decided to say something else to see how he would react. "No actually I was just thinking of accepting if he asked me out on a date. You know since he likes me and said he wanted to meet after class to go to my dorm."
If his jaw could explode, it would've. He could see her do like she was thinking, grinning as she turned her view to him once again. "Maybe it could escalate, who knows?" His quill snapped, her eyes turning to his hand that looked painfully shut close around it.
A grin grew wide on her face, her eyes fluttering up to his angry ones. "Careful, Malfoy. Your actions might make it seem like you care." She looked back down to her book, flipping to the page that showed how to make the Veritaserum potion.
She was definitely going to mess around with him more after that.
