Arabella's pov

Once we had both fixed our selves up, I took a sharp breath remembering that Leon's father is just down stairs.

Who knows what he heard! I cant say I was quiet..

And I hate the idea of seeing this man anyways. I don't want to see him.

"You ready?" Leon asked. I could feel myself becoming even more nervous.

Leon steps behind me placing a hand on my shoulder. "You will be fine, I'm here." I nod my head, "I know."

We were all now sat around the dining table, the men were all speaking to one another in Italian. I just dozed off since I had no idea what they were speaking about.

Leon was seated next me to me, his hand rested on my thigh. I couldn't help but blush under his touch.

"So," his father clears his throat drawing my attention. "When exactly will the wedding be?" He questions.

The grip Leon has on my leg tightens, and I'm unsure why he's so mad for.

I look up at Leon but he has a cold glare resting on his face his eyes focused on the man ahead of us.

"It will be when I get around to it." His father, Cameron had a look of disbelief and anger at his words as he shook his head.

"What do you mean?-"

"Don't start this here." Leon interrupted.

Start what?

I'm more than confused now. He shot his Father a look, that basically read 'shut the fuck up.' Before he raised from his chair and hoisted me up with him, his hand tightly gripped onto mine.

"You have met her now, and now you will have nothing else to do with her. You got what you wanted." His father looks astonished, but Leon dragged me away.

There was something I didn't know.

Just as we got to the door, Cameron spoke up one more time. "I guess you haven't told her yet have you." I turned to look behind me, stopping mid step.

"Tell me what?"I spoke up. Cameron had a sickening grimace across his face, he was now stood too, his arms crossed in front of him.

Before he could say anything. Leon grabbed me by the waist forcing me behind him. "Don't even, dare, you know that's not the only reason I did what I did." Leon's voice echoed through the room. I gripped into his suit from behind him.

"What's going on?" Muttering, I peek my head from behind him his Father stayed quiet. A few men then bursted into the room.

"Take him away, for now, leave him in my office." And with that Leon grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me out of the room and up the stairs.

"Leon."

He ignored me he just kept walking.

"Leon?" I asked for him again, his strides long and steady as he marched through the house towards our bedroom.

If he didn't tell me what the hell was going on, I would definitely find out my self.

It seemed almost as though everyone knew. Even the maids were peeking around the corners at us as we walked down the halls.

We get to our bedroom door again, he shoves a key into the hole, it clasped into the door and he swiftly opened it, making his way inside.

I walked inside behind him, which he then closed and locked the door behind me.
