𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 {𝗥.𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗮}

𝟭. 𝗠𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 {𝗧𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀}

Rafael Barba sat in his office. He looked to his pile of paperwork. He looked to see his assistant ADA walked in. He knew that he had been chosen to help Charlotte stabler or Charlie as she liked to be known as pass the bad exams. It had been a few weeks since Rafael had moved from Brooklyn and met her

"Hey. How is the case doing. I thought I'd get a coffee and food check since it's going to be a long night" she said as she sat down. He looked to her and smiled

"You see, this is why I like you" he said as she smiled

"Well it's good to know I'm good for food now give me those I'll go over the witness statements and I'll see if anything will pop out that stops us going to court or making the prosecution unreliable while you work on your closing argument. I know how you lie to show off mr barba" she said as she grabbed her coffee.

She took a sip as he sat behind his desk and smirked

"I thought that you had a family dinner" he asked as she glanced to his and she pulled her hair out of the clip that was digging in her skull and looked to him

"I'm one of six children. I won't be missed"

"And here I am an only child" he said as she smiled

Charlie knew how Rafael barba was and how he expected the best. He didn't like mistakes and Charlie stabler hardly made them. She had gone to Yale and studied hard. She wanted to make her parents proud. She had considered becoming a detective like her father once was but part of her saw what the job had done to him and she wanted to be responsible for making the bad guys pay

Charlie knew how Rafael had opened up to her slightly but he was still quiet closed off. She looked to the phone as it rang and sighed as she kicked off her heels and went to answer the phone

"Hello. Rafeal barba office...yeah...tomorrow...erm he's in court at..."

"10am"Rafael said not looking up from where he was writing. Charlie glanced to him. He wasn't looking at her as she smirked

"Ten, yeah I'm sure he'll hear the case...yeah I let him know" Charlee said as she hung up the phone and sighed

"Who was that?" He asked

"Chief of SVU. There's a case. Jocelyn paley has accused tv host Adam cain of rape. Said that you might be interested with you having big brass balls" Charlie said as Rafael looked to her and smirked as she started to read through another statement as Rafael chuckled to himself

"Did he now?" He asked as she smiled

"Yeah. He said he'd talk to you over court with a few detective to go over the case. They think because he's a high profile tv presenter it will go away" Charlee said.

She started to research on her laptop as Rafael looked to her and smiled. He saw the spark in her eye as she got a new case

"So those books?"

"A bit like fifty shades yes" she said as he smirked slightly

"You ever read those books miss stabler" he asked as she smirked

"My older sister got me it. Said I need to get my head out of law books. Not my type. I like doing over reading" she said as Rafael let out the laughter he was holding back
