I went to Sting and Yukino's wedding. I found Sorano about to leave.

"Oh, Erik! You're here!"

I stayed silent.

"What happened?"

"Kinana and I got married-"

"That's great!"

"for 5 minutes...My marriage lasted for 5 minutes..."

"Oh, Erik..."

I chuckled until it turned into breathing heavily to tears.

"Oh, Erik. Come here."

She widened her arms and hugged me.

"I can't believe it. She's gone. For real."

"Shh...you don't have to talk."

"I feel like I have to from all the silence in the room."

"It's okay."

We remained in the hug. I could hear Rogue proposing to Kagura.

"Kagura, I love you to heaven and hell. You are my mate, soulmate, best friend, badass, and the mother of my child. Our story is like a cliche love story, and I know you hate grand gestures, so I'm doing it after my best friend's wedding."

"You aren't..."

"Yes, I am. Kagura Mikazuchi,"

He went down on one knee.

"Will you marry me?"

"YES! YES! YES! YES!"

She jumped to hug him. He slipped the ring on her finger.

"When did you get this ring?"

"Today. Erik gave it to me."

"Erik? Really?"

"It was for Kinana, but he thought you should have it."

"I can't take this, but I'll still marry you."

They're finally getting married.

"Let's take you home."

"Can you take me to your place? I'm not ready to go back home."

"Sure."

Sorano drove me to her house. When she opened the door, a shirtless man was on her couch.

"Why do I keep walking in on people!" I complain.

The guy quickly scrambled off the couch.

"Oh my gosh. Macbeth?!"

"Hey, Erik...!"

"Shoot! I forgot you were here," Sorano said.

"Are you guys back together?"

"Yes. Yes, we are."

"Yay..."

I started crying again.

"What's wrong with him?" Macbeth questions.

I could hear Sorano cueing him to be quiet.

"My wife died."

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry, man. That was so inconsiderate of me."

"You're good."

"No, I can't imagine if one of my loved ones died."

"No. It's fine."
