I wasn't exactly surprised, but the landing on a small private runway close to Oslo was smooth and flawless, proving once more that Ulrik was a fantastic pilot. After exiting the plane, we entered an electric SUV waiting for us. It drove us to a tall building downtown, and Ulrik led me to its last floor.

Of course, his place in Oslo was as stunning as the one in Trondheim. The penthouse offered a panoramic view over the city, and the chic and elegant interior screamed opulence and old money. Some relics of the past were exposed there as well, either on pedestals or hanging on the walls. I was busy admiring a remarkably well-preserved helmet when Ulrik came to my side, slipping a hand on the small of my back.

"Would you like a tour?" he offered.

"Of course."

With his hand still on my back, Ulrik guided me through the spacious living room, adorned with exquisite design furniture that looked both stylish and comfortable. The plush velvet couches were complemented by sleek glass coffee tables, and a stunning chandelier hung from the high ceiling, casting a warm and inviting glow over the room. On the walls, an impressive collection of art was displayed, ranging from modern abstract pieces to classic oil paintings, each adding its own unique touch to the ambiance.

Moving on, we entered the dining area, where a grand wooden table dominated the space. Surrounding it were chic, high-backed chairs that invited us to take a seat and enjoy a sumptuous feast. The large windows provided a breathtaking view of the Oslo skyline, making it the perfect setting for both intimate dinners and glamorous gatherings.

Next, we ventured into the kitchen, a chef's dream come true. The sleek, state-of-the-art appliances blended seamlessly with the minimalist design, and the marble countertops exuded a sense of luxury. Ulrik explained that to him, a kitchen was not just a place to prepare meals but also a space for culinary creativity and experimentation. His cooking skills truly stemmed from a passion more than it did a need.

The tour then led us to the terrace, a true gem of the penthouse. The outdoor space was lavishly furnished with plush lounge chairs, a cozy outdoor fireplace, and an elegant dining area, as well as potted plants. The panoramic view of downtown Oslo was simply breathtaking, and I could imagine spending hours here, basking in the beauty of the city.

I couldn't help but be captivated by the sheer beauty and opulence of the place. From the moment I stepped in, it was evident that every aspect of the penthouse was carefully curated to exude elegance and sophistication. Throughout the tour, Ulrik's passion for design and attention to detail shone through, making this penthouse more than just a luxurious space but a work of art in itself. I felt incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience such splendor and beauty.

The master bedroom was a sanctuary of tranquility and relaxation. The king-sized bed was clad in soft, high-thread-count sheets that promised a night of ultimate comfort and sin. The room's color scheme was a calming blend of neutral grays and beiges, creating a soothing atmosphere that was conducive to restful sleep.

As we made our way to the bathroom, I was in awe of its grandeur. The marble-lined walls and floor, along with the sparkling crystal fixtures, gave it a spa-like ambiance. The deep soaking tub looked incredibly inviting, and the rainfall shower promised an indulgent bathing experience.

"This place is amazing," I said once we returned to the bedroom.

"I like living in comfort."

"This is more than comfort, Ulrik. This is luxury."

He offered me a semi-smile as if the nuance held no importance to him. Because I hadn't teased him for nearly an hour, which was apparently my limit, I gestured at the hallway we came in through.
