2020. December 30.

It's been a whole week since we officially started dating. But Yuki had to keep up with the team because he couldn't play for almost a month.

We both wanted to keep our relationship on the down-low, you know, not wanting it to become the town gossip. We just carried on doing our usual stuff, but now we're fully aware of each other's feelings.

Yuki and I decided to take a short trip to Florence to welcome the new year. It's only a two-hour train ride away, and most of our team will be spending it with their families. Yuki let me choose the destination.

Finally, I got to fulfill my dream of visiting Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. I was blown away when I saw the Duomo di Firenze, which I had only ever seen in history lectures. We visited amazing places like galleries showcasing Michelangelo's works, the museum of the Medici family, and other centers of art. And you know what? I enjoyed every bit of it, with Yuki by my side even though I couldn't tell if he was having as much fun on this art-filled adventure.

By the time we arrived at our hotel in the Historical Center of Firenze, it was already 6 PM. We booked a cozy 32-square-meter room for both of us.

And yeah, we still haven't done the deed.

We wanted to save some money, so we decided to go for just one room. We figured we'd rather spend our cash on experiences rather than just a place to sleep.

We were cool with sharing a room, but now that we're actually here, it feels a bit awkward.Of course, that's because we're officially dating now.

"Um...do you wanna use the bathroom first? I can hang out on the balcony," Yuki said, avoiding direct eye contact and awkwardly fidgeting. It made me chuckle.

"Relax, Yuki. That's not why we're here. Don't stress over things we can't control. If it happens, it happens," I said, trying to sound cool even though I was a bit nervous too.

I've been here before, but it feels like a whole new experience with Yuki by my side.

I saw Yuki's tense shoulders finally relax, and he looked so cute that I couldn't resist giving him a quick peck on the lips.

"Eri, I've never had a proper relationship before you," he said it like a sulking child.

"So... what's your point?" I asked, wrapping my arms around him.

"I told you, I was too focused on Mikasa. I couldn't commit myself fully to anything else."

"Are you telling me you're still a virgin?" I looked at him teasingly, still holding onto each other.

"No, no. It's not that. It's just that being with you feels completely different," he blushed.

"Then, let's forget about it. Focus on your Mikasa," I said, playfully breaking the embrace.

"No, Eri. No," he responded, shaking his head and making the "no" hand sign.

I burst into laughter. Yuki is just too cute.

"I'm still a man, Eri," he said thoughtfully.

Then he grabbed me by the waist and brought me onto the bed. He was on top of me, holding me tightly with his strong arms.

"Do you want to do it now?" I teased, raising an eyebrow.

He stared at me intensely.

I reached out my hands and ran them gently along his back, starting from the top and slowly moving downward. Yuki's body tensed up. He had a mix of pleasure and embarrassment on his face.

"I never knew you were such a tease, Eri," he said in a faint and shaky voice.

I couldn't help but burst into laughter. It was my turn to tease him, after all.

Yuki's arms gave out, and he collapsed onto the bed. It was quite a sight. I sat next to him, still laughing uncontrollably.

"You're enjoying too much, Hernandez," Yuki said defeatedly.

"Gomen, gomen. You are just so kawaii," I said, holding my stomach from laughing so hard.

Yuki was getting more embarrassed, so he got up on the bed looking defeated.

"Let's just go eat," he said, pulling my arm. I thought he was gonna drag me out of bed, but instead, he scooped me up like a newlywed.

"Ahh! Yuki! Put me down!"
I screamed.
