Chapter 37

It's been a week since I found out and I can't bring myself to tell Dante. I've been crying outside at night while he was sleeping and had to smile and joke with everyone else like nothing is wrong.

"Val let's go!" Hannah yelled from the bottom of the stairs

"I'm coming" I said looking at myself in the mirror

Thank god it's not showing

I grabbed my bag and headed down stairs . We were all going to this beach party but Dante said he'd be staying to finish some work.

Sitting at the back with Luca while Sandro drove holding Hannah's thigh. I smiled at how cute they look together.

"Shit I'm hungry" Luca said resting his head on my shoulder.

" don't worry we'll eat when we get there" i said smiling at him.

We got there and my heart sank to my stomach.

How the fuck do you ditch alcohol at a place like this

I set on the toilet given I had to use the bathroom every five minutes and I felt like crying three times already.

"You good" Sandro asked me while pouring himself a drink

" yeah just resting my feet" i said smiling

Luca came and dragged me to the dance floor dancing with me as we bumped into other people.

Fuck I needed this

Enjoying every  moment with him, I even forgot I was pregnant until I had to pee again. After four hours of avoiding alcohol and dancing with Luca we finally left to eat dinner.

"Val since when did you stop drinking wine" Hannah asked as she gave the waiter her menu.

Ugh shit

"Uhm I mean I'm gonna end up dying with all this alcohol I need to drink more water" i said hoping she'd drop it.

"Yeah good point but that would never be me" Luca said drinking his whiskey.

The food came and we laughed and joked the entire night.sitting here with them just felt so relaxing. Felt like my family I guess.

Fixing my dress while looking at the bathroom mirror. My eyes went down to my stomached and my heart ached. I grabbed my bag and headed out. They had already paid and was ready to leave.

"Ok next stop...club" Luca said with a tooth pick in his mouth.

"Uhh I think I'm gonna pass I'm tired" i said yawning

"Ok grandma you can go back home" Luca said smiling

I got back into the car as the driver toke me back. I felt a sharp pain in my lower abdomen making me wince in pain. I rubbed my stomach repeatedly trying to control my breathing. The pain settled and at this point I just wanted to sleep.

We finally arrived to the house and I had already taken off my shoes at the time.I hopped out the car and walked up the cold tiles before reaching the main door.The guards closed the door behind me and I walked over to the kitchen to make myself some hot chocolate. walking up the stairs blowing into my mug in attempt to cool down the hot liquid. I opened the door to Dante's room to see him sitting on the bed.

"Hey baby I'm back, oh my ...I'm so tired, my feet are killing me." I said taking off my dress in the bathroom and wearing my night dress.

"D ...why you quiet " I asked

"Are you pregnant" Dante asked. I stopped doing what I was doing as my eyes widened and I turned back to look at him.

"What" I asked, my heart beating out of my chest. Dante stood up turning to face me and I saw the pregnancy test in his hands.
