I decide to put on my other pair of sweatpants and grey sweater. I was going to doze off until I smelled something delicious.
I make my way downstairs and I hear distant chatter
"Haerin come! Y/N is making fried chicken!!" Danielle yells out
oh? Y/N is cooking again?
I decide to walk over to Y/N
"Y/N!"
"AHHHHHHH"
Y/N POV:
I may or may not have thrown flour at Haerin's face, point is that I pissed off a cat and now she's glaring at me.
"Haerin it was an accident, you scared me!"
Instead of a response, she wipes off some flour from her face and smacks me with it.
"hmph."
WHY DID THAT HURT MORE THAN THE BULLIES
"yo what's going on here?" Hanni comes in confused
"why are yall cosplaying as the Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters?" she follows up with
"aish shut up!" Haerin storms off angrily
aw man, I feel bad
"Hey Hanni, can you take over the chicken for me?"
"You're lucky I can cook Y/N! I got you" she pats me on the back, ushering me to check on Haerin
I make my way upstairs and knock on her door
"Haerin? I'm sorry I was just a little startled"
I was gonna knock on the door again until I see the door open, revealing Haerin wiping her face. I won't lie, the view is kinda cute. I could pinch her cheeks any second- wait what?
"You missed a spot" I wipe the last bit of flour off her cheek
After that small action, I notice her standing still with no emotion
"Haerin? I said I'm sorry"
Haerin POV:
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT????
HOW IS HE GONNA CLEAN MY FACE LIKE WE'RE IN A KDRAMA AND ACT LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED???!
Stay calm Haerin, it was just a kind gesture! Don't get yourself so worked up
"A-ah sorry I was spacing out, yeah I'm fine don't worry" I respond after standing still
"Are you sure? You seem out of place" STOP BEING SO CONCERNED Y/N AHUIGBU
"yeah i'm okay. let's go the girls are waiting" I grab his arm and head downstairs
Y/N POV:
How can one change their emotions so fast? mad > emotionless > shocked > DRY AS FUCK?
Man whatever, I head downstairs with Haerin
"Sorry Hanni! How's the chicken" I run over to check on the chicken
"Going just fine Y/N! We have a bowl ready full of chicken if you wanna go and serve the girls"
She states
"Ah it's okay you can go sit with them, I'll take over"
"Oki! Thanks Y/N you're the best!" she brings the bowl of chicken to the girls in the living room.
As I cook, I can't help but think about Haerin. Yeah my only job is to be a bodyguard and for some reason a maid, but I just feel the need to get closer to her. Just based off the first two days of staying with her, I feel like she needs someone to go to 24/7. I get the feeling she doesn't know how to let out her emotions properly, hence why there was such sudden change with her mood. Aish I think I'm just thinking too much about it, the chicken's ready I'll just bring it to them.
"Hey guys! Rest of the chicken is done, let's watch a movie"
"Yeah!" The 3 of them yell out while Haerin nods

"Killing her mom off was probably the best decision so far, I mean look at our business! She had a lot more money than I thought" I laugh up until one of my henchmen enter

"Hm?"
"Don't you think hiring that boy is a problem? What if he interferes with anything"
"Oh don't worry about that, it's about time he found out how his parents really died, it'll just be entertaining. Plus I doubt he'd put in the effort into 'saving' Haerin. Based off of his Taekwondo masters, he's a rude kid that doesn't care."
"I'm trusting your decision sir, I'll be on my way"
